Baby put this pen in your hand
Now show me the world

Draw me a shooting star and northern light
A bonfire in the summer night

Draw me mountaintops above the clouds
Smiles within a cheering crowd

Draw me the silhouette of a big old pine
A city beneath the great skyline

Draw me a lonely cactus on the desert road
A vulcano that will soon explode

Draw me sunflowers and a honey bee
A child under a big palm tree

Draw me two doves and a sparkling diamond
A red sun setting in the horizon

Draw me air balloons and a waterfall
Every brick on the chinese wall

Draw me the moon and a deep blue lake
A beating heart that will never break

Drop the pen and put my hand in yours
Now show me the world

When clouds get soft
I'll get into the sky again
You'll be the air beneath my wings

Show me
All the little things

And when I'm lost
I'll find myself a hurricane
That will whirl me back to you

After a storm
The sky is blue

And when I'm off
To get on the next aeroplane
Make sure the wind will carry me

When airborne
My mind is free

If our paths cross
Kiss me in the pouring rain
And in a moment hearts will meet

You'll be the air
That I breathe

Come put this mind of mine at ease
Calm me down
Shut me up
Make my dark shadows freeze
Make all the deamons be at peace

Please have the time stop at daylight
Make me shine
Warm me up
Make me miss you late at night
But make me think it will be alright

Now point me out the brightest star
Take me high
Wake me up
Show me the way no matter how far
Remind me of all the things we are

Create me a world out of simple stuff
Count me in
Make it up
Have it all seem clean and unrough
And let whatever this is be enough
