Eyes brought me to knees
Only God shows what God sees;
Heart closes, eyes opened


Hope

Hands wrung tight on hope
Truth landslides down the mountain;
Loose hands never hold

Resist

Dissolved in your sights.
Puddle of inconsequence;
Easily taken

Mismatched

Found, lost in your eyes;
The universe tilted left.
Now, nothing is right.

Sometimes it strikes me
the beautiful things have such fragility
the dog's ear perking up
clouds close to the mountain
pulses keeping our eyes open

You ever have those days?

Where someone just seems to understand how upset you are?

They understand you need someone even for a split second?

They cover your ears just for that moment so you can't hear those demons.

They know that you just need some peace and tranquility even though it wont last long

Our hearts are only pieces of the ocean
waiting for the turn of the tide
the wave that brings the vision
of pieces put together
when the stars and the trees and the ocean
are together in one tapestry
our hands are waiting to grasp eternity
our tears are waiting to flow freely
this entire time our breath is
grasping for another dip into reality
inevitably connected to all things seen
evermore pieces in motion
sometimes falling into place in wondrous formations
even as it falls apart only halfway woven
