Hey mates and fellow-poets... I wish you all a very merry christmas.... God bless us all.... :)
I am staring at the moon.
Like i am going to touch it very soon.
This ancient silver light has been shining on us for ages.
Reflected on our faces.

O Mystic Moon come take me away.
Let me merge with your light.
Let me extract your ancient rays.
Never fall out of my sight.
May God protect ye on thy path.
And all yer days, everything ye have.
Lands of yore, shores of hope, shining on thee.
What evil has be done shall perish, evaporating as morning dew.

As retreat'd yer sweet songs scatter o'er the land.
Heard by lonely rovers swaggering on hills o' man.
Caught by the wind, floating away to the shores.
Where a distant light twinkling before longing lovers.

Ye shall not be redeemed.
In life, nor in dream.
Ay heart o' yers was torn in tatters.
Ye lingered among the silhouettes of the trees.

'Tis a long lonely road ye walk.
Thru' seasons that stalk.
With evergreen trees marching by the river.
As ye watched yer lover walking away in shivers.

O God come and catch our every tear.
For Thou art the hand that built our lands.
Our hearts melting as we climb Thy banks to get nearer.
With angels and saints lamenting lost souls on Thy shores.
My Boyhood Friend

We were playing hide and seek.
It was one fair summer day.
I called out his name.
And then i found him.
Hidden in the bush, smiling back at me so happily.
I found you, i said.
You found me, he said.

Yesterday i received the news that he had passed away.
I was so devastated.

Away...away he's gone...
Out of my sight...
He's so young...
So young...
Maybe he is only hiding again...
Just like that one summer day in the bushes...
Only i will never find him this time...
She walked alone.
As the world droned.
With the fog swirling round.
Along the wet grassy mound.

Among the dead trees of autumn.
That flapped in the cold breeze as they hummed.
Distant lights of morning twinkled round her.
Slightly, unsteady, getting brighter.

She hastened away into the gloom of the dawn.
Upon God she wished to fawn.
To instill her hopes into the earth.
To regain her place of birth.

Thither, under a shading sycamore.
Lied a gloomy tomb of yore.
Staring back at her silently.
As if wishing to embrace her ardently.

Thither lied her silent love...
Corrupted through seasons that roved.
Left untouched in the dark.
Like a fading mark.

He used to be a handsome man.
Swaggering along his Father's land.
Smiling at the promise of the day.
Dancing his nights away.

She wist where she had seen him for the very first time.
When the church bell chimed.
When sons of God filled the cold emptiness.
To calm the world's restlessness.

She touched her love affectionately.
For the last time before she left reluctantly.
With tears her eyes dimmed.
She would always come back for him.

She and the tomb shared an old story only they wist.
Of feelings she could never resist.
Her longing for his presence.
Though only exsisted in silence.
Tonight i want to run away with you.
Away from this world beneath the stars.
Extracting blue from the sky we fly through.
Extracting red from Mars.

Across the universe, there is a hidden place we have not been.
Beneath the stars we have not seen.
That flutter round it like moths.
Radiant clouds they froth.

You and i feel the magic in the air.
As we merge with galaxies so fair.
Running into Heaven's secrets to pry.
It feels so good i want to cry.

Our cries shall be soothed.
Into our souls heavenly rain shall be smoothed.
Together we paint the sky with our story.
As in the radiant universe alone we glory.

Tonight...
You and me...
We cast our souls into heaven...
It feels so good i want to cry...
It feels so good...
So good...
I want to cry...
We are staring at the sunset.
Like a stranger in another town.
Crimson light reflected in your eyes like a rose so red.
We have been standing here since dawn.

Still not a word you say.
Not a word i say.
We are just breathing each other's
presences.
Extracting love from our own essences.

You hold my hand so tight for the last time.
I look deep into your eyes and my heart chimes.
Another story is coming our way.
Nothing else i can say.

I watch you walking away like rain on summer days.
I stare at your silhouette as you walk... towards the sun on the horizon...away...
Disappearing into the the crimson light.
Out of my sight.
