what a bizarre visitor you are!

Highly disfigured in shape
and as blemished as our moon
you are nonetheless a local resident
with a niche in the system
and possibly harboring a key
to understanding the phenomenon
of life on Earth.

Thus by cosmic equity,
you are further proof
that even the most
unpretentious
may become the pivotal
center of attention.
