To have you there lying next to me
In our pool of blood
We'll fade
Together our soul will travel with the undying love we promised
our eyes fixed on each other
together we'll bleed
we'll rot
my love, i will die for you
and with you darling
There was an army of ants in the plastic plants
So I poured light through a magnifying glass
And I created a fire on the artificial grass

They scurried and hurried
with flames on their backs
Like soldiers on a hopeless plain,
searching for invisible barracks

And I sighed as they died,
because we are all the same:
Scurrying and hurrying from invisible pain

You see that grass,
As you pass,
You smile that smile,
That can never be filed,
You watch as the trees,
Look like they freeze,
Their perfect pose,
Looks like it glows,
Its shadow covers you,
And it feels like together you are no longer two,
The wind that once was cold,
Now seems still and old,
The fear,
that you thought was near,
Is no longer here,
As you look around,
you realize now,
there is no meltdown,
Just your own innocent place.
