Falling
Lee Mar 2021
She cries and cries to let him know
That inside the world there is hope
But nothing seems to stop him,
From jumping off.

A Selfish World
Lee Mar 2021
Do parents really think by yelling,
Our depression is cured?
Do our friends seriously think
We’re doing well?
Does society really have to say,
Grow a pair when we allow ourselves
To feel?
this is a poem dedicated to my friend who decided that they no longer had a place for themselves in this world on 3/15/21

Masked Thoughts
Lee Mar 2021
A perfectly cut smile from ear to ear,
Laughs echoing down the hall quite clear.
Her eyes are filled with fake sincerity.
All this to hide her deepest insecurities.
She wears a mask to protect herself
Because behind, that perfect smile is gone
And those eyes look completely lost.
