mûre
I alight upon the ivory garden
tended with accents of wine
and elegant gates of grey
I call your name: Poetry.
Hello, poetry.
then I hear it, the warmest reply
like the scent of lilacs and ocean salt
***, my monitor is supercharged with it
A myriad cry
From the baby-bird mouths of the heated young
From the sensitized woe-lines of the veterans of love
For a bolt of lightning and carnal tangle
Rendering memories of the trembling inside you
I click through the poignant, the broken, the raw
syllables weave pixels into cotton sheets
They twist under the keys as I type:

"Hello, poetry. What simple beautiful animals we are."
I want your,
Arms.
I don't know how to tell you.

You wouldn't understand.

You don't know how much I care.

I want to tell you.

But,

You are taken.

It wouldn't mean anything.

I should have told you sooner.

We will be together.

Forever,

Faith.

Like a match burns
I took a scalpel to my life
I realise what I need and what I don't
I don't feel important
You are important a trusted and friendly member of our company

I run on the treadmill until I feel fake
When I'm thirty I jump off the treadmill and ***** at my own tremendous waste of life
Maybe I will sit in my office and stare at my diplomas and awards
Wondering at how I could afford a sports car

I'm tired of life already

Is what I tell them when I drive fast
Hey
Slow down
Be careful
Hold on
Hold back

If you go running off at the mouth
You will only have your heart broken

I decided

I don't want to sit in waiting rooms and fill out form after form with my social security number
Let me see your driver's license
Swipe card
Debit or credit

I would rather pay now than later
Later is gone in a ball of fire
Later I will die in a traffic collision
Later I will get cancer
Later I will be happy
I know I will be happy and fulfilled
Just after my favorite show is over

Tommorow you might be gone
Tommorow you might get sick
Tommorow I might lose you

But today you are mine
We are going to make summer heat and throw rocks at windows that may or may not be broken by tommorow

Fail a test
Just one
And your life turns into a black abyss
Drip out
Move downtown
Stay with a friend
Get to know someone
The library has all the books you need
Trust me
That its not so hard

You could be gone with me ......your heart beating a hundred miles an hour as you smile so big
Your sure widen
You hear someone scream and laugh
You feel free
As we speed  down an old dirt road

You get a taste for freedom
And your addicted

Come with me please
Today
Your utility bill will still be there waiting for you if you decide to come back
What will I put in my hair
Of all these dresses what should I wear
Strawberry sweet or amber spice
Which one should I spray
Which one will entice
Which color paint should I put on my face
Which kind of lashes will heighten the chase

I will call my sisters to help settle the scene
To debate about how I may sparkle and beam

What if I called to a sister afar
What if she never heard of living up to such par
What if she has seen so many pursuits
What if instead of beautiful she was only just cute
What if she knew of my dress
For it was her mother she tried to confess
What if she asks much more then I've ever
But her questions are real and they make me tremor

What if I can do more then say sorry
For those sisters who are sold as inventory

I love you for your color
Your intricate  designs
The frail wind of your wings
Glucose flavored lips
The driving force of your antennae
Against my skin
As you
taste
feel
smell
sound
me
Behind glass
You smile forever---
Bright and beautiful among the dust
A perfect setting
For a perfect specimen
The other boys would only catch you
And tear off your wings
Never I say
Never would I ever
Instead
I show you to everyone who comes over
How gorgeous you are in your glass case
Your wings are so large and scaled
Two wonderfully fragmented compound eyes
Such grace
and color
Nothing else in the world like you (I say)
So beautiful isn’t she?
And a ****** pain to catch

Wanderer
I've been called
Born with the wind at my back
Dirt at my heels
Push me along
The backpack is all you need
Put down your things
Lace on your boots
Get walking
The stars will guide you

Looks like its back
Back to beer bottles
Back to juke boxes
That won't play David Bowie
No matter how much I ask

Just when I thought I was a real boy
My strings tangled
And I fell flat on my face
Another walk home
Drunk
It's great to live out in the boondocks
Not a soul to bother
I can lay out in the stars
And smoke cigarettes
And write poetry
Sometimes I ***** out loud to god
But really
Who am I to whine
Ive worked hard
To be able to play my own David Bowie records
As loud as I want
With the front door wide open
Laying in the lawn
Singing along
Singing along

Twisted up in thread
Cobweb train tracks
From the window
You waved back
Handkerchief
In your hand
Bye bye to the moonlight
I'll close your eyes
Good... Good.... Come on sleep
I've spent so many nights
Up wide and awake
In a lab coat
Lookin for some answers
But all the test tubes are broken
The white rats have run away
So come on sleep
Take me
Punch my ticket
On the goodnight express
Train tracks on the cobwebs
And you lean out the window
To wave and ******* kisses
*Goodnight!
Goodnight, darling!
