I close my eyes to fall asleep without a sound, I call my dreams

As my heart starts to sink, I now begin to think

I say to myself what is the time, and think he's all mine

I breathe in, just to feel the sucture, as it's like puncture of an empty pit, that will just sit; until it's filled, with his love

I miss him, all I want is to kiss him

Until I reconnect, his distance keeps us apart; as if he's at the finish line and I'm just at the start
She's never known how to love boys, she's only played with toys.

He wasn't one to fall in love, unlike a white dove.

She looked at him different, it was still perfect, but different.

And when he made her smile, it was completely formed to her face for days as she couldn't erase.

Their love was mutual, but their harden soals were too afraid to admit

She was in love
He was in love

But the fear of saying it, was the depth that kept them apart

He was scared,
She was teared

He broke her heart, by one less of a knock

His stand up was the beginning of why she doesn't trust, because it was all just lust

A tear fell upon her cheek as she sat waiting, for him to walk beneath the hollow driveway of a suburban road.

As he didn't show, she now would know,
That because of him she wouldn't win

He made her lose fate as he didn't walk past the gate

She's forever afraid because the mistake he made.

Golden or Fragile?
I ask my heart
as they wrap it
around their finger
like soft metal,
Forming to each gesture
and trusting some
Irrevocable integrity to
Bend but not break,
a malleable soul
Worn by the years
that promised an alloy.
