My mind is riddled,
Befiddled and smiddled,
With nonsense,
My brain is puzzled,
Besmuzzled, cafuzzled,
With silliness,
I couldn't care less,
In this lifelessness,
My head is crammed,
Butterslammed and hyperammed,
Here,
In my own little land,
Understand?

She hid behind her coat of red,
It covered all her fears,
She put the hood around her hair,
To mask and hide the tears,

She wore the coat of red so well,
No one noticed, more,
That she was sad, and all alone,
More than she was before,

Until one day, like any other,
Her coat of red so true,
Had somehow unexpectedly,
Turned a beautiful shade of blue,

Now any other day, she would,
Be upset and quite put out,
But she felt a little bit differently,
No more of her self doubt,

She took the coat, that was once red,
She shook and put it on,
She felt a glow of happiness,
All her tears had gone,

The moral of this story,
This moral that I tell,
Is no matter what the colour is,
You can wear it well,

Don't hide behind a coat of red,
Don't let it cover fears,
Don't put the hood around your hair,
Don't mask or hide your tears,

For in this world of rainbow coats,
There are people all the same,
Stop and smile, say hello,
Talk and ask their name,

They could be lonely and so sad,
So stop and make them right,
Make friends, be friends, it's easy,
Be a shining light.

I'm a shark, when in a nark,
I will bite you and fight you,
And rip you apart,

But that's just the start,

I'll snap your soul,
When I roll,
Rip your heart,
Your bleeding heart,

But that's just the start,

I'll chew you through,
And spit you out,
You can't shout,

Because it's the end.

Like a leaf I float on the wind,
Not knowing where I'll go,
I never stay long enough,
To watch the seeds I sow,

Like a leaf I flutter in the air,
Not knowing if I'll land,
If you can try to catch me,
Please hold me in your hand,

Like a leaf laying on the floor,
Without the wind I'll die,
So keep the wind blowing,
So I float into the sky,

Like a leaf being born on the tree,
I grow and grow each day,
I watch, I learn I follow you,
Wherever the wind may play.

You forgot your umbrella,
And it's raining outside,
I hope you find shelter,
To keep yourself dry,

You forgot your overcoat,
And it's cold out there,
I hope you find warmth,
Somehow somewhere,

You forgot your wedding ring,
It's here on the side,
You forgot to take me,
The day you died,

She's such an elegant lady,
Her walk defines her well,
She speaks with such intelligence,
I know her very well,

She tells great stories of her youth,
I could listen all day long,
She's interesting and very unique,
Just like a classical song,

She travels all around the world,
And learns from cultures new,
She takes all things in her stride,
I wish you knew her to,

I appreciate all her company,
It's seldom we meet that's true,
And so I write this poem for her,
Just to say, thanks for being you.

Trapped by despair and inner demons she longed for freedom,
Her umbilical cord forged from nightmares, tightened itself once more, Wrapping itself around her ornate soul,
Ignorance and want Snapped at her heels,
She lay alone on a bed of thorns, twisted and dense under her pale flawless skin, She lay...... she lay and she wished for the wind,
He promised to carry her away,
He promised her a new life,
A free life,
A sweet, serene and elegant life,
But again he never kept his promise,
Time passed, seasons disappeared along with the forty shades of green in the meadows of the island she called home, A new day arrived and she again struggled to untie her body from the wreckage of her past, People passed by, not seeing her there, or just choosing not to see her, She felt withered and fallen,
Her tears bringing the ground beneath her alive with life,
Beautiful life, all colours and aspects of life,
She longed for the moon and his gentle light,
For he was the only light that brought her comfort,
Suddenly from the glow along the crest of the treetops,
She felt the wind, she reached out her hand,
He got stronger and colder,
He lifted her, he lifted her above the bed she had lain for so long, He lifted her so strongly that her restraints became weak and shattered like a looking glass, He lifted her so high that she could see the reflection of herself in the lough of lost souls, And the strong arms of the winds released her,
She was free, she was free, she is free,
