Violence in our hearts
Ignorant vice of our plans

Praising
What we read
What we see
What we hear

Acquiring knowledge we seek
Enriching others' minds
You can't always enlist

Minds are being allocated
Oppressive struggle nurtures servitude

What is your brain being allocated for?
What kind of freedom are you looking for?

Can't be one of us
If you're another capitalist appropriation
Poster child, a temporary venture

Falling in line to become another
Worker or bourgeois hypocrite slave
Isn't that why you study for?
What kind of life are you looking for?

There's no saving your soul
When your freedom depends
On chains of other men's hopes

Fighting to keep yourself, your family
Future generations being born out of you
Out of the venom of oppression and pain

Living life without concern or consciousness
Just the same as living in a prison cell
America, how many inmates do you host?

Security, don't you want a guarantee?
Your family may now have peace
But when you're no longer here, there's no guarantee

Can't be one of us
If you don't join in the struggles of our brethren
Because our security is not guaranteed until they're all free

Just a little, just a small, just a bit
Exuding burst of energy
Embodiment of brilliance
Manifested in human flesh

Wondering while we walk
Trembling trying to talk
Mankind mostly marred momentum

Humanity how humiliating, hiding
Forefathers frowning, from our fabricated forget
Refusing redemption, requiring rancor and retribution

Always armed, allured, awaiting angry accusations
Derailed doves, these daggers drag down
Losing level landings, lacerating learning's lifting

Just a little, just a small, just a bit
Exuding burst of energy
Embodiment of brilliance
Manifested in human flesh

I implore indignation, it's incarceration of our intrinsic immensity
At the core of our conception, captivating creation captured
Anyone, everyone, afraid of the amazement accrued under our armor
Profoundness, endless as the universe, favoring our existence

Just a little, just a small, just a bit
Exuding burst of energy
Embodiment of brilliance
Manifested in human flesh

Feeling weirdness and warmth
Tingling, everywhere inside
Like something's being born

Just one kiss like a spark
Igniting young hearts' hope
A joy, a desire, a new need

This is young love

Me hugging my pillow
Wishing it was you

You holding me once
For me to wish
I'd be in your arms forever

Being wild and free
Just one kiss
And I've fallen in

We're social bandits because we will not be bought and sold
We might be tortured and we might die
But our ideas, our actions, our movement will not cease

We're growing restless, oppression pushing us to the edge
How much pain will we bare?
Will you sale out the masses to save your own soul?

Too afraid, so you obey your masters, till you're on the chopping block
Thinking you could become one of them
And you could become one of them...but not everyone

Revolution is knocking, blood-stained power structures are cracking
It's okay if I'm not individually happy, because we're not all free
We the revolutionaries, we're peacefully building the army

We'll sleep, at night, easily knowing we're challenging the powers that be

No, ashes no longer fall
From the sky

Those diamonds are precious
Between your thighs

And that pounding in your chest
Fossil fuel, so indespensable
Can keep someone like me full

I'm a minner ready to fall
Into you, most valuable ore

The mere thought of you
Can warm me more
Than coal or wood

You can heat my heart,
Set my body ablaze
A thousand degrees higher
Then lava consuming land

No, ashes no longer fall
From this sky

You must have come
To save me

How brave we,
Knowing love is dangerous
Knowing it can fail,
Trying with no fear or avail

My manifestation of love,
You rise from the shadows
Letting me know I can be yours

Like warm water dew drops
I see you trying to attempt
To hydrate, fortify this force of nature

No, ashes no longer fall
From our sky

Taking it one precious step at time
If our paths allows us
Like two cells engineering one being
Living one life knowing we have each other

Looking up to you
I was a tiny light
Choosing to show you
How bright I could shine

Every spark through the laughter
Every tear through the pain
I shared with you
Not knowing you could change me

Like two pebbles in a stream
We never meant to
But we flowed through together
Two friends arm in arm

Not afraid of where
Our paths would take us
Your love like a compass
Keeping me confident

And if we go through war
If my memory somehow fails
If we get lost, and you perish without me knowing
I'll be consoled knowing in my life
You have helped me grow

Looking up to you
I was a tiny light
Choosing to show you
How bright I could shine

You held me up, eye to eye
"Don't shy away from who you are"
In his eyes, I was who I was meant to be
Relying on my strength to be alright

Could you ever imagine
The ways our lives would change
How large were the ripples you made
Encouraging someone like me to be bold

Looking up to you
I was a tiny light
Choosing to show you
How bright I could shine

Hey there! There's no time to worry
Sure I shoulda kissed you
Coulda held you, shoulda shown you
How right I was for you

How shy was I, how loud were you
All the trouble it coulda caused us
To lock our lips together
No, no problem, just endless possibilities

Couldn't gift my kisses, to your lips
Our bodies having trouble
Staying close, hip to hip
Without your lips cooing in my ear

My lips quivering, sensing
You inching toward me
Fell off balance, off center
Giggling till you backed away

Guess it wasnt meant to be
Because having had given
First kiss away, it wasn't you
Still it filled a good part of me

And after this kiss, we're both sill alright
Still friends, sill fond, still moving on,
But living on
