Awaiting fate
Elfie Mac Dec 2010
Sit silently
hear the wind blow
the cars pass by
they move slow
slow
sitting there silent
you hear the sound
an ambulance comes you pace the ground
as you watch yourself lay there hopeless
limp
you try to scream out
as you see them come to your side
put you on the stretcher
take you and sigh
trying to fix whats been broken so many times before
now you await fate as they close the door
of the ambulance white with red on the sides
this is the last of your heartbreak
no longer will you cry
tears of frustration of his idiocy
*now my dear you are set free

sophomore lunch days
Elfie Mac Dec 2010
If I die I die pretty
That's what I said
Sitting in the cafeteria one day during lunch
23 minutes to discuss the world

looking around we talked about boys
love and history facts
about how people cant cease to amaze
how they seem to think they can scare us
the three musketeers
but we know better

You have my back
I have yours
you'll yell at the girl with the frizzy red hair
wearing his jersey
on play offs of course

I'll threaten to trip him
kick him in the hall
they try to take it
take it all

but we know better
keep our hearts strong
keeping each other safe
helping each other along

my back doors always open I say
as you tell about the fight
you and your dad
the endless plight

We are all friends
sitting at lunch
talking of life
our sophomore year moving
faster than we thought

lets hope this never ends
our friendship
our plans
lets always eat lunch
eat lunch as friends

Good bye Romeo
Elfie Mac Jun 2010
And now I leave you
For today
With Juliet
Romeo you will stay
We will remain friends
But never the same
As the day before
When you said
"I love you Rosaline"
but then night turned to day
and you had a new love of a different name
"It is the east, and Juliet is the sun"
Yeah Mercutio told me you moved on
So good bye Romeo
Take care of your heart
For today is the day we part

Summer night dreamin'
Elfie Mac Jun 2010
Nothing to do
Nothing to say
These summer nights always end the same
With dreams of sunshine
And crashing waves
Summer nights filled with
Summer days
That linger forever in my dreams
Summer I know will never leave

Fear
Elfie Mac Mar 2010
From behind a door
Around a corner
Or in plane sight
you can't scare me
no matter how hard you try
I do not know you
Neither you do me
But yet you jump to try to startle
but fail perfectly

live today
Elfie Mac Feb 2010
live today
breath right now
leave everything else behind
live your life
with out regret
and forget about that time
when everything crashed all around
but now just live
live today and be free

Walking down
Elfie Mac Jan 2010
Walking down
These snow covered paths
Foot prints lead the way
Into the unknown
Were everyone goes
At least once a day

Our lives not mapped out
Although we wish they were
To live it up
I do concur
Is the best way.

music
Elfie Mac Jan 2010
The blue birds sing
There sweet songs
The notes drift with the wind
But the darkness comes and the music stops
What happened?

The songs we sang sounded so sweet
But now they are forgotten
Yesterday the music filled the air
Now there is nothing.

Never went away
Elfie Mac Jan 2010
And in a way
I know the truth
Although I’ve never heard
I feel the thoughts drift through my mind
And soon I hear your words,
“The ones we love never leave”
“But there no longer here on earth”
This hope arises deep within
We live another day
All because your memories
Never went away.

great scott
Elfie Mac Jan 2010
Great Scott the sky is blue
And the stars shine so bright
But I now see this through a clearer view
For I have opened my eyes

I have lived my life
With ***** glasses
But today they are clean
Because I have changed my point of view
Today the light is brighter than ever
Great scott the sky is blue

Fishing for thoughts
Elfie Mac Jan 2010
Fishing around
in the ocean of my dreams
I caught a mighty big thought
until the line broke
and it swam away
that is when I forgot

— The End —
