Ready.
An ancient mix
of connection plus
classic individuality.
Steady.

Heart and soul pull
together to form sweet
jams of melodious rewrite.

First draft,
Pah! No more than
scribbled lines of quick snap,
The sound of an idea. Crackle!
Electric pop.

Second screening;
This time with a chord
on blues and lyricise.

Word choice, bass drum
Action verb, guitar solo.
Stage left, practice practice
Perfect is only in front of a mirror.
Blue in the face,
Expertise of spit out syllables and rosy pink word fire.

Freeform poetry {jazz},
Filled with line
b
    R
        E
              A
                     K
                            S
that shimmy and shake.

Get up!
The finale is now
Adoring fans
Closed eyes bring
fantastic images
of repressed nights
Howling to be free.

Stage fight
Charming souls
with solid words
and wisdom of the wah wah

I want the twiddle you hear
in lil guitar songs.
The ones that twist your heartstrings
and make you sigh with relief,
with pain and shame and passion.
They hit you like the music notes that
promise big dreams and whisper sweet nothings:
a ton of bricks with good intentions.

Get the heartache out of the way first:
do the hard stuff first
and take the joyful meanderings, eventually.

Take this beating, breathing, seething, seemingly
lively thing and EXCHANGE it
make it feel and not think
let me follow and follow and not lead me
astray. Show me, don't tell me.

I am your poetry 100 class, and you
need to constructively criticize my
existence in to sense.
My cheeks against the breast of the willing to embrace my cold fingers, are clammy with perspiration the hot air thirsts for. Every racing pulse amplified out of sound into vibration is a symphony of racing music into braille for our living hearts. Our pleasure met with caution, pacing each stroke, is personifying true dependence seizing our moment. My weight featherless, embracing welcoming arms intertwining, delights our insecure minds with assured acts of permission. Every motion increasing steamy exhales, scented ecstasy defuses from my love origin. My walls collapse with silent ripples, and constant oral doings, is an awesome relief. My eyes again meet disbelievingly upon the mounting passenger arisen from my open heaven. Every ****** of passion intensifies building stronger yearnings for grasping this entire ******. I am exploding inside and rippling out, every wave a breath on my lips. My shoulder is met with shoulder lying in silent breath's fouled with the presence of two lovers.

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my *******,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
I heard your voice,

I swear, i felt you touch me,

You sang that silly song to me,

I could smell your beautiful body,

We made love, slow,
And heartfelt,

Then fast, and frantic,

You whispered"I love you Elly",

Then,

I awoke!,

And, died,

A dream is the closest thing i'll ever get to you,

My love...
The evening bright lights
Scattered upon the floor

Sweeten the warm night
Dancing happily about
The ponds delight reflected

Through our starry eyes
I caress your soft red lips

Fragrant with peony
Sweet kissing breeze adoring
A star lit rustling beauty

They couldn't believe their eyes as the world
they once knew crumbled to the ground.
The sound of a million hearts dropping
became deafening and filled the air around.

The life they had become so well accustomed to
disintegrated into rubble before their very feet.
They all stood screaming to themselves
as the ash and dust rained down in sheets.

They looked up to the sky and held out their arms
while buildings turned in like collapsing shelves.
And suddenly they all began to turn and wander
when they realized they had created this themselves.

Tavy CleaveWhen I walked along your leats; The hawk soared the sky,Singing it's song like prayer,Cutting through blue time.Round your corner of hill majesty,Tawny colours grew;Grass: dun as a horses back;Cleaved hills knitted my fissured flesh and heart.Empted I approached:The blue river of you flowed through me,Where echoed waterfalls reached deep pools,Sweet wild songs rose to the top of your granite shoulders.

the buzz stays longer
in the moonlite,
you glow bizarre colors
extravagent gaiety
overcomes us while the crisp outlines blur
and the streetlights
swerve and duck
to our erratic pleasure.
This time,
I will remember our childhood
as we laugh,
I will see us as grandparents
playing in the sand again
with sweet-faced angels
And I will allow myself to exist today.
Sometimes You talk.
Sometimes I listen.
You need ***
and I need company.
We use each other equally.
A relationship
of scheduled appointments
convenience
and need
is all that we are.
You and Me.
You need someone to touch.
I need to feel you there.
Anything to make us forget
life isn't fair.
An agreement.
A compromise.
"Just stay here tonight."
A mutual understanding.
A give and take thing.
But we don't talk about it.
We pretend
that I really like you
and you like me.
Yet we both know the truth
that matter of fact...

We're only a meeting of minds.
We still store our hearts in the phobias

**we hide.
