Longing hearts
Yearn to be one,
We shall meet early,
Wind, Rain or shine,
On our path again,
Beside the River,
Warm smiles shall greet,
Hands will clasp,
Both shall walk,
Perhaps have a kiss,
Our hearts are one.

Up ended,
Knees showing,
Public place,
She giggles.

Lunch for two,
At Metropolitan,
Two ***** Martini’s,
Cheese stuffed olives,
‘Level One’ *****,
Lunch side by side,
Your birthday celebration.
‘Cherries Jubilee’,
Finished,
Our day being ‘us’.

Looking at my album,
Of a picture taken,
Long ago built,
Sandcastles,
Made from child dreams,
Of sand and water,
On a shore play day,
Using hand shovel and bucket,
Scooping sand,
Mixing with water,
Hands molding,
A child’s fort takes place,
With dreams of fierce battles,
Slowly afternoon tide comes in,
Washing against castle walls,
Reclaiming its precious sand,
Waves invade,
Hand prints disappear,
Molded mounds fall,
Those castle forms disappear,
Soon they become just a memory,
Forever caught,
In a Kodak moment,
Have you ever made a sandcastle?

My Enchantress
Sensations charm,
Drawing me close,
Your magic touch,
Is that of an entrancing,
Temptress in mind and soul,
Who beckons me into my dreams,
Both day and night,
As I hear you whisper,
“Come to Me”
With a blink an eye,
In a thin time slice,
Quickly I am there,
You are my love,
Flowing Across My Skin.

Rose tattoo yes, you have one,
With a Rose on right thigh,
And an inked name of,
Your lifelong friend underneath,
One day you will have another,
Which will be that of your lover.

When I escape behind my eyes,
There is a place I like to go,
In another dimension,
A place of time, space and color,
Of blue skies and sunshine,
Where field grasses move,
As fresh breezes drift,
A place which is far beyond,
Ordinary cares and chores.
