He romanticized me.
I'm not the one he thinks I am.
The rainstorm,
the starry eyes,
The empress of truth.
I'm not the one he thinks I am.

What's the chemical composition of love?
Love versus lust
Explosive reaction,
In the nether region.
Lust from the earths crust
A quest in the labyrinth of adulthood
Locked from the gates of innocence versus virginity
Or lack thereof.
Fall in love with love
Smother her with cynicism.
Take out your guard dogs
But you're still unprotected.
While walking down the street I heard an old man say "I've been in love with the same woman for 50 years now." I was touched until I heard him say "I wish she knew"
You there, the one reading this now I want you to do something, smile. Smile because you're beautiful because you're amazing because you're unique because you can because tomorrow is a new day because no matter what you think, someone out there loves you smile because you deserve to. Smile why? Because you can stay happy stay strong stay positive
with just keys, right pocket, as witness,
truly,
i would fall a little
more with
you close enough, with
you i
could go out every night
or sleep just a little
easier. we slip
into patterned strides,
eyes ablaze under the enclosure of
sodium streetlamps.
through scraps of sienna cloud,
one star emerges:
a steady twinkle in your eyes,
a heartbeat,

a truth and an intractability.

behind my mask of emotions, there are things youd never expect to see
The pain the day causes
The sadness that looking at you makes
The hate for what you made me,
all of my emotions
its all just a lie
a mask to keep you from my deepest thoughts
i never take off my mask
it is what keeps up my facade
i pretend that i am happy and okay
but im not
if you look hard enough past my mask
you will see the real me
My heart, a desolate desert,
starving for the taste of your lips.
Thirsting for the nourishment,
the quench your kisses bring.

You brush past, I can feel your intense
sorrow, the hurt you bury deep inside.
You may have shut your heart from the
world, but you can't continue to hide.
I see you, I sense you, feel your desire
to break down and just be human again.
Yet you've convinced yourself that you're
better off shutting out the world till the end.
You may think you're unlovable, incapable
of ever feeling like you belong anywhere, alone. . .
I see you, I know you, more than you'll ever
understand, I am your longing soul.
