Today I'm trying to ignore the pain
I can imagine butterflies
Are carrying my pain to the fluffy clouds
I can imagine birds are singing to me
Instead of the constant pills I have to swallow
I can imagine that little gnomes and fairies
Are trying to take away most of my pain
Instead of the pain medicine that I take
With a snack or a meal
I can imagine that rainbows and shooting stars
Adorn the sky instead of the grey clouds
That fill the sky
I can also imagine that the day is warm enough
For our games of croquet or perhaps volleyball
Instead of the howling winds and bitter cold
That lace the air outside the house
I can try to picture myself
Reading a book underneath a sunny, shady tree
Or laying beside a babbling brook or creek
Dreaming the hours away
Instead of sitting here in the rocking recliner
Trying to ignore the pain

Yeah, I guess I'm in a little pain because of
having the corners of my ingrown toenail removed, and a slight headache perhaps!!! ~~~~<3
But I'll try to ignore the pain, and be brave if possible!!! :) ~~~~~<3
Update: the podiatrist wants to see me Tuesday
I guess because he wants to see if it's healing!!!! (: ~~~~<3

Meadows full of beauty
Waterfalls pristine
Mountains with ice
Mountains and ravines and meadows too
Blend and make an assortment of pretty
Quilts
All different colours
Mixed together to create this beauty
That surrounds us all. . .
Sapphire blue lakes And sparkling rivers
Sing a swelling anthem
To greet Spring
And to say "Welcome Home"
O shout and sing
For Spring will soon be here.

Mother sweet,
Mother dear,
Mother, you're my treat;
Mother, I love you all the year!

Mother, dear I just want to say,
How much I love you every day,
I don't know how to say this;
But I always love to give you a kiss.

My small bit of thanks for all you do,
Know that all I've said here is true,
You're the best Mom in the whole world;
And always love your words!

Because they're pretty and sometimes sad,
But never no never mad,
Because that's how sweet you are;
My pretty twinkling star!

Mother sweet, Mother dear,
I love you more every year,
Because you're the dearest Mother ever;
Even if you weren't I'd love you forever!

For my friend of Beauty
That she describes so well
She loves Nature and is brilliant too
A poetess of words is she
As she describes so well
The dawn of morning and
The dusk of Night
And the snow she describes
So very sweetly and beautifully
She is my friend
And a pretty one too
As she writes with beauty
The things she knows so well
Sunrises and sunsets
She describes their Beauty too
With such graceful lines
Written with her lovely description
She is gentle with all animals
And they respect her
She loves cats too
Just like I do
She is full of beauty, grace,
Happiness, sunshine, and love
And she is my graceful dove!

My son, if thou wilt receive
my words, and hide my
commandments with thee:
2 So that thou incline thine ear
unto wisdom, and apply thine
heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after
knowledge, and liftest up thy
voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid
treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand
the fear of the Lord, and find the
knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh
knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom
for the righteous: he is a buckler
to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of
judgment, and preserveth the way of
his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand
righteousness, and judgment, and
equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into
thine heart, and knowledge is
pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve
thee, understanding shall keep
thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way
of the evil man, from the man that
speaketh froward things;
13 Who leave the paths of
uprightness to walk in the ways of
darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and
delight in the frowardness of the
wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked,
and they froward in their paths:
16 To deliver thee from the
strange woman, even from the
stranger which flattereth with her
words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide
of her youth, and forgetteth the
covenant of her God.
18 For her house inclineth
unto death, and her paths unto the
dead.
19 None that go onto her return
again, neither take they hold of
the paths of life.
20 That thou mayest walk in the
way of good men, and keep the
paths of the righteous.
21 For the upright shall dwell in
the land, and the perfect shall
remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut
off from the earth, and the
transgressors shall be rooted out
of it.
