These days go on and on,
They never seem to end.
These seconds pass
As though eternities
In a broken hour glass.

Time will never cease,
Never stop ticking,
Never stop living;
Whether the peak of mountains,
Or the very dumps of life.
Time will never stop ticking.

Tick, tick, tick,
An eternity of time,
Never to return.
Never to come back
This is from a series of poems I wrote back in 2003.

Rolled into perfection,
Stacked and beautiful.
Loved for the sake of loving,
And wanting to be needed.

Torn. Between two places,
Both of which are home.
Not knowing what to expect;
Not expecting what is known.
This is from a series of poems I wrote in 2003.

Consider these the words
That nobody ever said,
And consider these the actions
That nobody ever took.
Sometimes it's real,
Sometimes it's fake,
But this time is different.
Consider this the extended hand
Of friendship that was never offered,
The chance we are afraid to take.
This is from a series of poems I found that I wrote in 2003.

Once I wondered
If people were scared
Then I pondered
If they even cared

The just sit
And they watch
As problems arise.

They just sit
And they watch
As these problems
Escalate.
Leaving more problems
To retaliate.
They just sit
And they watch
As these problems
Get passed on to others
Leaving these problems
In the hands of someone else’s brother.

Where do you turn
When greatness flees?
Retreats to peaks
Just out of your reach.

Cynicism surrounds you;
Loyalty is missing
And luck ran away with
Fortune and honesty.

When it leaves, it's gone
And there's nothing to do
But dig deep, and believe
That you are greater than you.

Stand still
Sweet night,
Embrace the now.
(Fret not, salvation awaits)
[Don't forget, sinning is fun]
{It's always your choice}

Still standing
Silent night,
Question the now.
[Don't forget, sinning is fun]
(Hold strong, salvation awaits)
{It's always your choice}

Standing still
Spinning night,
Forget what's real.
(Don't worry, sinning is harmless]
[It's too late, salvation is gone}
{There's rarely a second chance)

Falling down.
Sorry, night.
Accept your choice.
(Fret not, sinning is harmless.)
[Don't fear, salvation returns.]
{It wasn't your choice.}

Maybe if these words
Rip your heart out
You'll know what it means
To have lost it all.
You didn't have to give that much,
But that was too much for you to give.
The next time we meet
It wont be much better.
I'll mark you 'return to sender'
And hope you get lost
On your trip back home.
Do not say you know how I feel,
That's just make believe.
I'm better now,
Back from the Lost and Found.
Here's to hoping
You remain lost to me.
