A women's trust,
An expectation of black and white realism,
A needful draw,
Of faraway expectations and illusion,
Coldness depicts and illustrates her,
She dines on pain and drama,
She lives only once a day,
Biting sarcasm and hurt,
She draws blood.
Vampirical.
Efforts to save me from her are pointless and completely ineffective,
She has me.
Held to the ground and unable to escape,
She kisses my face,
And I'm in love.

I close my eyes,
But not asleep,
From here I can see them,
They dance in the shadows,
Behind my closed eyes,
Whispers and soft voices,
And shadows realized,
I think they are angels,
Spirited and light,
Singing choirs never-ending,
Alas, my love g'night.

A truly broken heart,
Shattered to bits,
Longing and hope become meaningless ,
There is no tomorrow,
Only painful yesterday's,
This heart should stop beating and bleeding,
It does no good.
It tricks the mind into believing,
That somehow, there is a post-poned disappointment.
Realized and manifested,
It becomes true.

Eyes wide open,
Imagination in full gear,
Brilliant lights from a far off town,
Pollutes the sky,
Making stars less brilliant,
Than they really are.
Still the Beautiful universe reveals itself,
Giving subtle hints to its beginning,
And perhaps its eventual end.

It seems to me that golden sparks and silver shimmerings,
Belong to those that still have dreams and wonderful imaginings.
For those of us tired and weary,
Dreams are of death and end.
As though somehow,
The urge to continue,
Wanes,
Like a dissolving moon,
Appearing to disappear,
Its presentness luckily found,
Again the horizon allows slow moving shadows,
To reflect the sunshine of the day,
To creep slowly 'cross the sky,
And bring understanding of the night.
This is my end,
When stars fade to black,
Nothing is left for me here,
Not for lack of desire,
But for a lack of dreams.

Sit still my son,
I have yet to call you,
The world swirls around you,
Awaiting a call to arms,
Soon my son,
A sword I will place in your hand,
The fiery voice I will give you,
Power over force,
When it is time.
Await the trumpets.
