Tail turned to red sunset on a juniper crown a lone magpie cawks.

Mad at Oryoki in the shrine-room -- Thistles blossomed late afternoon.

Put on my shirt and took it off in the sun walking the path to lunch.

A dandelion seed floats above the marsh grass with the mosquitos.

At 4 A.M. the two middleaged men sleeping together holding hands.

In the half-light of dawn a few birds warble under the Pleiades.

Sky reddens behind fir trees, larks twitter, sparrows cheep cheep cheep
       cheep cheep.

Caught shoplifting ran out the department store at sunrise and woke up.

We Are

We are the unwanted
the unloved
the ignored
We are the under appreciated
the unrespected
the outcasts

We will be heard!
Feared!
And Hated!
We will be seen!
Inspire hate on site
Inspire disgust on site

We will ignore their judging eyes!
We will ignore their words of hate!
We will ignore their 'guiding' hand!
We will ignore them entirely!

We will smash our grip on reality
And break free of its control
We will smash their grip on us
And break free as one

We will rise as one
We will fall as one
But most of all
We are going to make a name for ourselves
Before we die
We will be known

You used to tease me about my fat-pants.
One button too tight, so I didn’t eat the biscuits.

I don’t eat the biscuits anymore.

Because they remind me of the taste in my mouth,
When I heard about you
And the crash
And the fact that you’re gone.
I grasped her hips
and whispered quips
into her sultry ear.
With a mischievous leer
I pulled her near
and kissed her softened lips.
I                         choose               to                 live                    a                     positive              life
choose                to                   make              it               purposeful            and             worthwhile
to                      make                  it                rosier               and                 prettier              everyday,
live                     it                     rosier            and              happier              with                    love -
a                   purposeful          and             happier       existence -       perpetually       peaceful
positive          and                  prettier         with         perpetually            no                     sorrow
life             worthwhile       everyday,     love -           peaceful             sorrow                 alive!

Early morning
and I arose-
Without warning
you'd propose
to dose me sweet,
and you'd persist
to give a treat:
and so you kissed.
Your roses bloomed
around your pearls
and you resumed,
while my toes curled,
to kiss me soft.
(And although I lay,
I stand aloft
In early day).

Rupture
I like the^ way the "Q" looks in my name.
It's beautiful because it's here
And nowhere else will ever be--
Isolated in a corner of this twenty-first century universe,
As are we.

He lays in bed clutching his chest
fighting that pain that's entombed in his breast.
He tries to hold back the tears welling up
but the pain's too severe and staying strong's not enough.
A break-up is hard but a divorce much more
now he pulls out the gun from his dresser drawer.
He thinks it is simple, the easy way out
not one thing can stop him from his pre set route,
until his daughter walks in asking daddy what's wrong,
why can't you and mommy just get along?
He hides the gun quickly so his baby won't see,
then he hugs her so loving, "I'm so sorry sweety".
She doesn't know it but she saved her father,
yes he is so grateful for his wonderful daughter.
It's been a few years now but they are back together
yes everything's perfect, it couldn't be better.
