Jump in when I try to work
Walk away when I try to speak
It is clear you have no respect

Toss my blankets around
Hide my blade when I am gone
It's obvious you don't want me

Step under me when I try to work
Cry like an ungrateful child for nothing
No regard for others

Shoot me in heat of revenge
Even when I was gone
A childish brat with no apology

Leave your children behind
And date every other man in the state
Give it time and all will be lost

Call upon me every time you need to go
To watch over your youth
And yet you blame me when they won't listen to you

Clung to mommy, you both bicker and whine
It is a surprise you are able to dine
Why is it you put me in the middle

You crave dominance
When those above you are gone, you tear everyone up
I ain't afraid to toss you into the magma

I won't be here much longer, and seeing how you don't need me I shall not return.
You might hear of me on the big screen or in some pages,
But that will be all you see.
I won't be here if you don't need me,
As the world comes knocking its time for me to answer
I don't care who you are or what you think
I will not let you destroy this
Two options are up
One to join me, one to disappear
Better choose quick or I will decide
Change your mind before I go if you wish
Cause when I ride and you stir trouble
I will personally throw you out of the speeding train
This is my final word
I won't be here if you don't need me
But toss me aside and I won't ever think of coming back
I put one cycle to end, I will put any more to rest
I won't be here
I won't be near
I will make sure of it
In my arms, is where you lie
As the world slowly enters another war
I cannot hear a thing
Tangled in skin, covered only with a blanket
I wish I was there a bit more
But now all that matters is the silence in this room
Brought forth by a friend with a shield when you cried out
I rushed to you with the flashes of red white and blue
Hoping time would serve the best
But now I take comfort in knowing that your safe
With our time alone you asked a question or two
And honesty in I gave
You felt weird  knowing that I helped you so much
Yet what you knew of me was so little
In time I hope that will change
But now I rest my head as do you
Giving thanks for the day's grace and will
In hopes that our last salvation will hold true
With the final moments  of slumber you whisper,
"I love you"
The pieces
Of the heart
Are spread across the field
The victims all have claimed
That Cupids had abandoned them
Believing they lead to the false loves

They all chose the hands
Cupid had nothing to do with it
It was all their doing that had them harmed
Free will gave them the option to choose the one
But lately their decision had not been pure of heart

He may be of patience
But Cupid is not wasteful
And grows tiresome of the idiotic
The job isn't to gear two for a fun rider
The job is to prepare two for the true purpose

The true purpose of love
To to place enough emotion
Into something created by so much
That it is able to take on a life of its own
And when the love is taken out of the creation
The odds of it reaching something great are slim

That is why Cupid left
Not because of laziness or anger
Because they hold on to the what is left
Inside the generations old Pandora's Box
They hold on and continue to wait for hope

To hope that the few great
Will reset the eyes of love to
The Old ways so more can grow
And in till that day shall come
More victims will be broken into only wonder why
The Reason Cupid Left
The ground
Is covered in fresh blood
As it flows from the head
Of the foreseer

The shooters
Wanted silence in his lips
That now quiver while still
Losing its strength

No remorse
Is given to the lose
As arrogance covers the mess
Left by the blind

Days pass
Truth is revealed
The foreseer was right
But acknowledged by none

The shooters
Weep without end
Feeling pain times 10
Of what they have dealt

The Messenger
Forgotten in time
But reviewed by some
Yet still ignored by the blind

All of this
Because of lack of judgement
All of this
When they shot the Messenger
The rose
The symbol
The promise
A flower that stands
As the only flower of life
No matter its color
It gives rings of passion
Be it I miss you
Be it I love you
The rose still brings that single promise
That the most beautiful are worth the ****** of its thorns
Images of what I wanted to see are blurred
As clutter fills the way
I looked to the path to find a way over
But my step was too large

The heart's wish whispers its words
So gently stating what it would like
I looked to the elders
But that become nothing but memory

Passion aches for a chance to dance
Swaying its hands to sign whats coming
I looked to the moonlight defender
But that was nothing more then a child's admiration

My strength hangs by the thinnest of thread
Waiting for a chance to fight
I looked to a swordsman who fought the same wars
But that too was admiration for forgotten ways

My mind tries to plan the next step
Seeing if it could twist the ropes of reality
I looked towards the bridge
But that was gone in the wages of war

I looked for a hand to hold by my side in this journey
Seeing if they were worthy of the time
I looked to my family for ideas
But that too had faded into lost memories

So I stand
Waiting for wings to grow
To soar above the mess
And meet with the angels I have foresee

Behind I could hear whispers
Chanting various unknowns and tone
I looked to see who is there
To realize the armies I have brought

How am I to truly lead the way
If I am stuck in this hole that never stops getting deeper

Come to me my wings
Allow to soar higher above the forgotten green
So I may once again foresee the angels
I'm on the horizon, looking back to all that followed
A few thousand faces I can see in the water
One out of few are the lights in the mourning crowd I spot each day
The rest are hitchhikers in for the ride
Not anyone I ever really knew

I continue to rider towards the horizon
With every break to make the next move
I look back to see how many more faces in the crowds
But see none that I hoped to see
I cannot go back, for I am too far now
Will I ever see them again?
