Corner of my eye I catch a glimpse
And days go bye until I see
There's no light, only darkness trapped in your mind, fighting to be free

All you feel is fear, sadness and sorrow
how long until your heart is hollow

Time gone bye I knew you
Like the Devil and God
A battle is to be won
And the world will know when it is done

Once I saw hope in your eyes
Now sadness is all that I feel
To far gone for your heart to heal

The soul is dying
As all the tears are drying

The world around is killing you
Nothing left, you can do

I want to save you from the fate install
which is harder than a wall

What I see in your eyes
As the image becomes clearer
Is my reflection, in the mirror
Update 2017

A friend of mine recently commited suicide, I dedicate this to you Abi.

For those that don't know, I've suffered with depression for a while and several years ago I joined an online support group for people that had suicidal thoughts. I started talking to this wonderful person named Abi, she was one of the best people I've ever met, although we never met in person she still came to mean alot to me. I wish she'd continued to find help, but I hope she's happy now. R.I.P Abi

Walking around like a pack of animals
Following each other
copying what we see,
What really separates us from animals?

We talk, we think, we try to explain
but we also follow, we do as we told, we believe what is said
We work, we build, we have fun
but I'm still not seeing what truly separates us from animals

The only thing that I see different is our power
anything different we try to hurt, **** or experiment on
if any animal behaved like a human
what do you think we would do to it?
We'd experiment, we'd ****, we would torture
or put it on TV and turn it in to a celebrity.

So I ask what truly separates us from animals?

Where does it end
Hell on Earth
Hell in dreams
Hell in death
where is heaven
where is peace
searching amongst this hatred, anger, violence
nothing but Hell
where does it end

It's always bad news that we read
even worse news that we hear
it's enough to make you run in fear.

War after war
death after death
Every second a life form is taking it's final breath

The 6th commandment says thou shall not ****
but not only do we still do, some even do it for a frill
Every life that dies, every final breath that is taken
makes me sad and angry that I can not save them

My love for life includes the biggest and the smallest
Alien, human, bugs or birds
no discrimination on who or what I love
so when one dies, I question who else cries.
This was inspired by an other poet on here and it made me think that I should write about how I feel in these situations.

THANK YOU for reading.

Where's my mommy
where's my daddy
I don't see them
just ruble around me,
people screaming
running away from the heat
fires raging.

Mommy wake up
daddy wake up
found them sleeping.

Wake up mommy
wake up
wake up daddy
wake up
From the point of view of a child in war

Lying awake staring at the clock as it ticks down
another day coming to an end.
A day spent asking and wondering
Will I?

Will I die alone,
I've spent years questioning my own life
my own existence
but one question I cannot for see an answer for is
Will I?

Every minute of every hour of everyday
just more time off my life
closer till the day I die
Another day where
Wishes haven't come true.
I don't wish for much
happiness for all
happiness for ME

Will I?

Does snow love the trees and fields as it kisses them so gently?
It covers the Earth, nice and snug, with a think white quilt
as it whispers "Go to sleep, darlings, till spring comes"
It was magical, this snow globe world
as families came in out of the cold

Hair is gray and the fires burning
so many dreams on my shelf
the perfect Christmas
I always wanted that myself.

Stars are twinkling
Angels looking down
Green leaves wrapped in tinsel
trees are shinning so bright
family cheers through out the night.

This Christmas as you play in the snow
smile, laugh and be happy
your dreams may come true, you never know.

Does snow love the trees and fields as it kisses them so gently?
It covers the Earth, nice and snug, with a think white quilt
as it whispers "Go to sleep, darlings, till spring comes"
It was magical, this snow globe world
as families came in out of the cold

Without hope I'd be dead
my body would be six feet under
and my mind would be left to wonder
as I lay rotting
my mind would travel the heavens
and the depths of hell
Without hope I'd be dead

Without love I'd be lonely
surrounded but alone
no one to get me
no one to understand
Without love I'd be lonely

Without me the world would be

Looking up at the sky
wondering!
Looking out to the horizon
wondering!
Looking at the mountains, the rivers, the seas
wondering!

What am I wondering?
"I'm not sure"
maybe I'm wondering
am I alone, are we alone
where are the stars, are they gone or just hidden
maybe I'm wondering
where it all went wrong
where did it go right
maybe I'm wondering
is it to late
can it be repaired
maybe I'm wondering
why we did what we did
why we waited so long

"Wondering"

My mind wonders back
back to the beginning
to the moment when this began
the day I met you

Like a production played out in my mind
sound so loud I can not hear anything else
but then my mind skips ahead and the sadness returns

I can't stop playing it over in my mind
the moment they told you
"Weeks left to live"
the fear I saw in your eyes
but there was nothing we could do

A tear falls from my eye
hating that you are gone
but there is nothing I can do
except remember you
your smile
your laughter
your big blue eyes
your kindness
so My mind wonders back
back to the beginning
to the moment when this began
the day I met you
At the moment this poem doesn't pressent it's self from my point of view, it is written from the point of view of a person who recently lost their loved one. So many people die each year and there loved ones suffer in heart ache, I tried my best to promote how this might feel to a person who as yet to experience this kind of heart ache.. R.I.P to those who've lost their lives

The world turns up
the world is watching
the summer of 2014
our attention turns to South America
all eyes on Brazil

We have kick off
for nearly 2 hours we stand as one
a united nation
cheering when we win
crying when we lose
until that final whistle
we stand as one

Every 4 years
the world turns up
the world is watching
World cup
Twenty fourteen

First Letter

Each day we wake up at seven
And at the end at least six of us are in heaven
It’s one of the worst things I’ve seen
I don’t know about you but these Germans are mean

Once we played a game of football
While we played there were six German solders standing on the Berlin wall
They only had limited firepower
But took out twelve of us, only a few of us made it back to the look out tower

Apparently the war could be over at the end of the week
Five countries have already surrendered
Just Japan
The UK and US are coming up with a plan

Second Letter

Good news honey
While we searched for ******
We came across his stash of money

Also Japan have given up
So we have won the war
So see you in a few days baby

(Knock at the door)

Mrs. Shovels, I’m sorry to say but your husband has been killed
A German bomb killed his unit
The blast was so quick I don’t think he would have felt it
Once again I am ever so sorry
Another old piece here, I tried something new with this one.

I woke up once in a very strange world
I thought it was the past, or maybe a parallel universe
but I was wrong.
All around me I saw some stupid things
People been killed for their religious beliefs
gay marriage illegal, people been killed for been gay
freedom of speech limited
people not knowing what equal rights are
the rich getting everything while the poor get nothing
crime everywhere, criminals walking free
torture, suppression, bullying, hatred, killing, PERSECUTION
accused witches burned alive
governments killing civilians
War after war after war

I was wrong, this isn't the past or a parallel universe
this is our Earth, our time
This is happening right now!

If you cheat on me
I'll get you back
I'll pour hot wax into your *** crack
watch you scream and cry in pain
I'll break your legs and leave you lame.

**** that ***** and kiss that *****
I'll leave you mangled in a ditch.
You said you loved me
but you made me cry
I hope you go and die.
Cheat on me
I'll get you back
smash your Xbox into a million pieces
and clean your car with the dogs feces.
so now you've lost me, I'm finally free
don't you ever dare text me.
Tried something different here (Sorry for the swearing)

I wanted to make this from the point of view of a woman that as been cheated on and how angry it makes a person feel.

I have never cheated on a person and I never will but I know how it feels to be cheated on.

You wake up each morning feeling like you don't fit in
you believe no one really understands you
half of you is missing from the world
people find you weird and strange
you find them boring.
You're not alone

You don't have many friends
you never go to parties
a psychiatrist would probably lock you away
you feel lonely surrounded by billions
you feel you will die with no one in your life
You're not alone

It doesn't matter what others think
it doesn't matter if no one gets you
because my friend
you're not alone
