Once upon a time their was nothing
only darkness, no stars, no planets, no life.
One day something changed
a spark that caused an explosion
more powerful than all of Earths weapons combined.

In that moment that very short moment
the universe went from nothing to everything
the greatest masterpiece, the greatest art show ever
in the space of a second, the universe was full of potential

Potential for life, for music, for creativity
potential for so much
we owe our existence to that tiny spark that caused an explosion
that caused us.
A spark of potential

In the year 3000
will we still be here
living on land
or below the sea.
Will we have
driver-less cars
robot people
a colonised Mars
where will we be
in the year 3000

It's crazy
I try to pull away
but I don't seem able
I promise myself no more
but when I see you I forget about everything
It's crazy

Sometimes were like a river
constantly traveling in one direction
other times
it's like a tug of war
trying to pull away
I promise myself no more
but when I see you I forget about everything
It's crazy

I don't know how
but you some how creep into my mind
I only have to close my eyes
and you appear
I try to pull away
but I don't seem able
It's crazy

From a distance they looked like shooting stars
but to us we knew what they really were
some enemy decided to attack
launching bombs from their fortresses while we are left to burn
all around us explosions
destroying schools, hospitals and homes
we've never done anything to this enemy
yet they try to end our lives.

Morning had come with a horrible smell
burning buildings for miles
thousands had died last night
more will die tonight
we're pleading for help
but no one is listening
we did nothing wrong to this enemy
why are we the ones left to die
Written from the point of view of a person that is in a war torn country

In my life time I've seen
5 generations of the Iphone
The rise of Google
Bill Gates replaced as the worlds richest man
the continuing transformation of China and India
I've been witness to so much but yet so little

I'm still yet to witness
Man on mars
Alien integration into our society
The end of poverty
World peace
I've seen so much but yet so little

Despite what I've seen and the things left to witness
I can't help but think of those that wont be here to see the future
Rest In Peace to you all
This was inspired by the story of Taylor Smith

Sadly she passed away this year due to complications to pneumonia
while her parents was going through her things they found letters she had written to people but one letter stood out from the others, it was a letter to her future self 10 years from now.. As I read the letter I couldn't help but smile but once I finished reading I cried a little because I remembered that she had passed.

If I told you I was a fireman and a building fell on me while I rescued children from a burning school
would you still look at my scars and judge me unfairly

If I told you I pushed an old lady out the way of a speeding car
would you still look at my limp and judge me unfairly

If I told you I gave everything I own to charity
would you still look at me for been homeless and judge me unfairly

If I told you I had cancer 3 times
would you still look at my bald head and judge me unfairly

I am more than what you see
please don't judge me

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.
Visual art
great sounding music
nothing comes close to the beauty we feel for our loves
our children
our families
love is beautiful
felt with our heart
written in our words
drawn in our art
made in our sculptures

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
Never give up
never back down
1 million times tried
but the moment we succeed
we feel immense happiness
never give up
always try one more time

Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor.
the statement above should read like the statement below
Life is a dream full of happiness, the world had problems but no more
everyone is rich and no one is poor

We can't have peace without accepting others views
we may find them weird
we may find them strange
but a person isn't made up of one idea
they are made of many
one common ground, one common idea
starts a conversation
Tried something different, hope you like
