This is not yin and yang,
not a balancing of things.

These are human beings trying to survive.
That kid that was shot, never saw it coming until it was too late.
But what could he have done anyways?
Who's responsibility is it to stop the hate?

Yours. Mine. Everyone's.
Please learn to love each other before someone important to you dies because the wrong person is in control of the gun.
if it's wrong, we have to fight.

This is the thrill of sneaking into an open house,
The adrenaline you felt watching Indiana Jones,
The final frontier
And they keep it centimeters away from your finger tips, guised with fear.
Everything you need,
They will convince you you have.
Thoughts are untouchable.
Technology to make us unapproachable.
Turns us into sheep uncoachable.

Have you ever eaten a fruit and tasted pure life?
Waited for the perfect moment, and when you knew it, took a bite of sustenance that was just ripe.
And long after the vitamins, and juices fade
Succumb to the imitations they gave
Absorbing nothing but the feeling
That your insides are alright.
They give you enough to keep you alive and in sight,
but there are those who have woken up and see the shadows covered in real light.
They can end us all tomorrow,
But we'll come back with the power of knowledge we can borrow
We have the advantages to win our fight.
Spread the word, ain't you heard?
We've been alright.
This is just life.

I am what I have always been.
I am just clearer now.

I am still the adjective you love to say,
Just better defined somehow.

Knowing everything will complete you and destroy you all at once,
You are not crazy
You are not alone
You are not delusioned
You are not ego
You are not person
You are not son

you
are
the
results
of
illusions
**undone
Above this plane.

When you plant a seed in a broken garden,
Results are flowers that have grown guarded.

Apprehension to explore territory uncharted
Departed
We are weeds jealous of flowers
Parted.

No matter how many random children pluck us, make a wish, and blow our spores around
We are still weeds struggling.
We will never infiltrate that rose bush,
We will never leave the ground.

If you want it,
it will be

Try your destiny on,
When it fits, you will **see
Every poem of mine before this point, was written by someone else. If you can't understand that yet, keep digging. It isn't a mystery. The words are all there for you. Form your own opinions.

Have you ever really heard?
You know the word
You know the birds,
But is it what you really heard?

Were you taught to observe?
Would you pause if you had the sense, when they tell you keep going around the curve?
Like treasure hunts and hide and seek they convinced us to grow old and not return
Like poets, scientists, revolutionaries, MLK they taught us to question what we learned is to burn.
I just thought you should know.
We all have to figure out where we need to go.

Looking back I feel is important
'Cause in everyday life
        Things get distorted
Although I am trying to see
Like I intend it to be
                 There
                   are
                     no
             guarentees
Pre-rebirth. I had no idea what was coming. I knew where I was headed though. Keep digging, always.
