yellow brick road

for I should be awake not dreaming
this morning on waking up
I looked out my window
the one grey cloud I did see
and today that cloud followed me
just to make me colour blind
is it you or just me or my mind
now 2 have become 3
is it me that knows colours
or my mind
today I am having problems with colours.

The year before last
part of my brain died
the doctor's called it a TIA
it was a stroke
and part of my brain died
sometimes 'I can tell
but I am never sure of what I miss
but I can tell you I had it before
so all read my warning well
eat less fat take less salt
and bring your chances to nought.

Today I met a StarMan
all he did was drift up.

Today when I woke
I had another mind storm
in the day's of my youth
I was told to do all things best as I can
good times, I know I had my share
don't expect my words

a mushroom growing from my head
at first
i thought amazing
then thought nothing inside
for there is not much room in there
