there are infinite
different translations

and together they add up to one

one same story
in all different nations

one same Earth
one same Moon
one same Sun

in our infinite ways
we describe

knowledge
deeper than words
in the soul

in our languages
peoples and tribes

we remember the sky
as our home

I am what I call I
and I am limited
bilateral
a labyrinth of memories
a galaxy of minerals

I am what I call I
infinitesimal
ephemeral
a dream of being separate
from all the other chemicals

I am what I call I
and I am living
biological
a symphony
of static electricity and molecules

but when I look behind
the many mirrors of my mind
I am the world
I am the sky
I am more than what I call I

Some people look for thunderstorms
Some people for sunshine
No matter what you're looking for
Seek and ye shall find

Some people look for aliens
Some people look for God
And even through the deepest storm
Lightning finds its rod

I dreamed that I
was on the Moon

I looked into the sky

where the Sun shined
through ink black night
by the Capricorn sign

and near the Sun
in perfect haunting blue
so still and bright

I saw our world
up in the sky
with all the other lights

I felt it all
to see our planet
so far and so small

I felt that I
was in the sky
I felt that I could fall

with a jolt to the solar plexus
I thought to myself

"That is the Earth
where I belong

and I am somewhere else"
