From the moment I was born
I was deemed terminal
And in keep with any known disease
If not kept in check, will get the best of me

The day the doctor slapped my rear
And said boy, get on out of here
I’m sure you’ll do just fine
With this crazy thing called life

And that’s exactly what this young kid did
Running the streets and loving it
Live it like there ain’t no cure
Love life like it’s terminal

The only thing to put a stop to it
Is the day you’re declared dead
No time for the bitter pill of sorrow
Live life like there’s no tomorrow

I do believe they might be right
Today is the first day of the rest of your life
So when you’re told that you should live
Do your best to make the best of it

Laugh and love, smile and hug
Like you never have enough
Live it like there ain’t no cure
Love life like it’s terminal
F    Fear the water God says you must walk across
A   Allow your mustard seed to germinate
I     Implore the Lord to take your quaking hand
T   Trusting that your feet won’t sink into the brine
H   His hand is strong in yours, so step out now in faith.

I swear at one time
I was a fun loving guy
Why, you can call home
And ask my wife

She’ll say about me
The life of the party
The cats meow
Along with bees knees

A fun loving boy
This bundle of joy
In the lampshade brigade
I was self employed

Quick with a smile
Before I found out
What they’ve tried to hide
What life’s all about

If you only knew
This once fun loving dude
Why, just ask my wife
She’ll tell you the truth

You might not approve of the action
The words might sting and hard to believe or difficult to digest
Acceptance takes awhile
Is it worth a sleepless night?
People change for better or worse
Mourning what was is futile
Move forward and if things are meant to be or improve
So be it
If not
Keep it to yourself and Journey on
Time is worth a thousand words
Two centuries passes
I never heard from you
My heart is broken
I started to try and be
          Myself
Because I cried tears
I dried my tears
I can now live
My own life
I will give you my time
If you call
And I won’t expect
Anything in return
Time is worth a fortune
Love is a gift
I’ll never understand
Why life turned
Out like it did
Time is worth a thousand words

I will bloom for you
If you wait
And take care of me
It will be worth it
I may only show you
A little at a time
For fear you may hurt
My petals
But wait
And cherish me
I'll full bloom
From the love
I saw the most beautiful rose today
