****** Earth

Wind wipes out the dust.
Sky sheds its skin—blooming
her Lilly flowers fade,
Still, she is celestial

Pebbles in the pool
scarring the face of water
It become a broken mirror
Still, she is ******

summer fruits thrive
bunches of grapes obtrude
her feisty body wet,
Still, she is elegant

black clouds whimpering
soil smells of horse’s tail
Her earth feels revolted
Still, she is bold

Inspiration

Woke up early morning in a fairy dream,
She swam **** in a cool water stream
an adorable, elegant, celestial beauty
in her teens, She is looking naughty
Liking her innocence and perfection
I remoulded  her into verses in an inspiration.
Sweet, seductive, natural, and desirable
She is tempting, shy and so admirable
She has natural  tastes, novel  talents
Everything seems to be  right for moments
And one of her must-liking  is a  pool
Where she can enjoy the tides of cool

Poetry is like an impulsive steady flow of powerful feelings in human life: it takes its origins from emotional recollections in tranquility. Poetry is the art of substantiating shadows, and of lending existence to nothing. Williamsji’s lyrics cannot be treated as poems, but represents an image or a sketch from different angles of human life.. His writings are simple and generous. The title of his latest work is "Arramviralthumbath......" (On the tip of the sixth finger) is a legendary concept of a writer's pen, which is similar to the sixth finger used for scribbling the emotions into paper.

Williamsji  has written three collection of lyrics to his credit, namely RAGHAPOOJA (Offering of Love), RANAKHANAM (The War-front) and ARRAMVIRALTHUMBATH (On the tip of the 6th finger)

Heaven is on earth

When you are away from my side
I felt like the hell is on  earth,
When you slowly touched  my body
I felt like first rain in the desert,
When you lightly kissed on  my lips
I felt like the first dewdrops on grass
When you lied down on my bed side
I felt like  sea *******  the  shore
When you pulled down  to embrace
I felt like moonlight driped into dark
When we both shared life together
I felt that heaven is on earth

The word, the bird..

Williamsji

a word is not  just a word
a bird is not just a bird
The word has wings
The bird also sings

A verse is not just a verse
A horse is not just a horse
The verse thrills the heart
The horse pulls the cart

A curse is not just a curse
A course is not just a course
The curse will affect to ruin
The Course will **** the  pain

The Goddess

Williamsji

You are like the Greek goddess
Without wearing any silky dress
Neither of spring nor the winter
I appeared like a natural painter

Your Blue eyes depicted shyness
Carving the shadows of godliness
I have no more splendid colors;
Nor with any fresh cut flowers,

Evening sky covered us in dark,
moonlight shared drops of dusk
Take my soft  kiss upon the brow
in parting away from you now

Recently, I had purchased the book titled "Arramviralthumbath...". I read all poems in it within minutes. I liked "ROOPAKUDE", the sarcastic writing of Williamsji, commenting on the Saints.....

Sacred Love

Williamsji

In a single missing heartbeat, you appeared...
My life remained a question to be answered,
The meaning of fulfillment was not defined,
An emptiness of mind’s oneness, declined

Longing for years to get my love acceptance
With a simple joy of sharing, in reminiscence
and to close the endless nights of loneliness
To live on earth, in grief and togetherness

Your sacred love is tastier than grape wine
The  ode of your sweat seems to be divine.
My body, mind, spirit,  all begins to race
Rays of  moonlight roll down on my face.

Beautiful world

Williamsji

Those days were very bright
When I was holding you tight
You were safe in my body warm
always close by to my  body in calm
you looked at my eyes in desperate
And whispered you will never separate,
That I’m the only one for you always
Loving, living till death in all  ways
do whatever your heart now desires,
as long as it’s pleasing, I am all yours.
Tell me I am there for your wish to come
lay down next to me, make love to me,
take my heart on a journey for ever
Let our world of beauty ends never.
A love like yours, is hard to find,
A life with you, I wouldn’t mind.
I sometimes wonder where I’d be,
If you hadn’t came and set me free?
I’m sad at the thought of being apart,
And ecstatic to know, I’m in your heart!
There’s little to teach, and a lot to learn,
From a women like you, I’d wait my turn.

Satire is a mode of writing that exposes the failings of individuals, institutions, or societies to ridicule and scorn. Satire is often an incidental element in literary works that may not be wholly satirical, but partially which is a good example depicted in WILLIAMSJI’s Arramvirlthumbathee a collection of lyrics, recently published by H & C BOOKS in Malayalam. Satire is the art of using both irony and sarcasm to communicate an idea about an incident, individual or group of people. In a satirical poem, you must use your own clever word mixing ability to convey what it is about the subject that deserves to be ridiculed, without being so direct that your meaning is too clearly defined. Rather, you want your readers and audience to really consider your use of sarcasm and irony to determine what you are trying to say about the subject. Having gone through Williamsj thirty five poems, written in very simple form of poetry, suitably mixed with reality and humor, attracts readers who will enjoy big thoughts in few lines. Congratulation to Williamsji. VARADHAN KRISHNAKUMAR, TRIVANDRUM
