Twilight speaks to me  
The whispering of serenity
A sky so still
It heals me

A soul so sad
A lonely feather falls
The sea begins to calm
I wipe my tears
The mask slips on
Don’t let them see me cry

A tap on my window
Hazel eyes glow
Four taps and I open up
Heal that rotten soul he exclaimed
But when the time came
He left me dangling off the edge of my window sill  
Once he has his fill

Petal by petal
A soul heals
A beautiful sight
Fragrant emotions
In the air
Finally repair
Despite the despair
That lays down there
It’s only fair
That I’m starting to grow
Out of this nightmare

A watering can is nothing
Without the water to fill it

She was afraid
Afraid Sadness was immortal
Anxiety was eternal
Misery was everlasting
And happiness was out of reach
But she still smiled

Oh Ivy green
She twists and twirls
Straight to your heart
Now we can never be apart

Oh violet sky
Purple hue
You light me up
Happy with you

She died before her death
But no one noticed

Just let the waves wash over you
The storm will calm

It rains now
As you rest your head on me

Let the rain fill your soul
So you don’t cry

He left a broken soul
And bruised fragments

Her smile lights up
Even the rainiest of days

Loving you was like
Watering dead flowers

Minds unwind
As the waves soothe their souls
Filling them up with golden serenity

I felt the cold set into my bones
When you said you didn’t love me

A gentle kiss upon her forehead
Allowed a drowsy peace to settle deep within her

Clouds of passion crash together
Intertwining lonely hearts
Now the sky is grey

My dreams circle around me
But still I cannot find them

The cold dead air
pressed against my skin
trying to get in
but maybe this time
I won't let it win

A lonely echo smiled
when you said you loved her

You were sent from hell
But became my heaven

Broken and blue
Is how love leaves you

Love me!
She screamed
But his lips remained silent

Sat waiting
Wondering
If I even exist at all

A single splinter
Pierced my heart
Leaving nothing but a hole
That won’t fill

She’s on your mind
While you’re in my bed
But you tell me it’s all in my head

Don’t forget the moon
When you’re swimming in the sun

She didn’t know what love was
But she knew it wasn’t this

The moon speaks to me
He keeps me up all night
He says he’s seen it all before
He's told me a million times

A heart left cold
Will break

I lay the storm on my shoulders
to keep you from the rain

If the rain disappears
Then so shall your tears

The sadness settled on my skin
Like a warm fluffy blanket
Now all I do is cry

Your touch
Leaves erosion
There’s barely anything left

Go to sleep
She said
You’ll see him in your dreams

If you’re the sun
Then I’m the moon
And together
We eclipse

A soul so delicate
Yet so stained
Broken and frayed
She still keeps trying
To scrub it away
Despite the pain

I love you she said
So he devoured her
Now he’s full of love

There are times
When I feel like crying
So I stand in the rain
And pour

The waves fall over the rocks
The same way you stumble for her
Quickly and all at once  
Crashing and hitting at big impact
Slowly eroding your soul

If love could overwhelm
I’d be surrounded by waves

My thoughts
Bump and spin around me
Like clothes in a dryer
The cycles on repeat

She gazed at the sunset and smiled
Will you miss me? she whispered

I never got the chance to reply

Life is unfair
I fall into despair
Will I get out of this nightmare?

Go away
I screamed
But the thoughts kept coming

I’m sad for days
My life slips away
When will I be okay?

I once flew above the clouds
but now I lay beneath the ground

Waves of sadness
Salt filled rain
Messed up makeup
Despair filled soul
