The empty room
clarie Jun 2020
The dingy darkened room,
I sit alone in.
The room, everyone walked out of.
The very room, that rainbows and sunshine
filled.
Is now just somber and abandoned.

My worst fear,
The reason I don't open myself up,
Surround myself with people,
Is the cold fact that the more people you let
into your room
The more people that can walk out.
They can get up from right by you,
Open the door,
And leave you, alone.

Until every single person ends up leaving.
And there's no one to talk to,
No place to go,
And no way to recover.

The room I sit in,
staring at the duskiness dead of night,
hoping that someone decides to open the chalky
brown door.

Im shattered glass,
with no one to pick me up,
no one to put me back together,
No one to even notice,
How Broken, everyone has left me.
this is kinda depressing lol but if you're going through this I'm here to talk :)

I wish you actually cared
clarie Jun 2020
After everything we have been through,
late night calls,
mid-day dances,
you still pretend I don't exist

when no ones around to see
the amazing person you actually are
that's when you need me
that's when you care

when people appear again
you leave like we never had those nights
or those days
and you go back to ignoring me,
until the people disappear once more.
this ones for you bubblo. I hate when the people you love the most act like it when it's only you and them, then just pretend you don't exist when people are around.

Him&Her
clarie Sep 2020
2 people,
2 people who trust each other with their hearts.
But 2 people who are both messed up,

Broken.

They both held the same fear,
The fear that chased after them every day.
“What if I mess something up?”
“What if I do something wrong”
Aside from this fear, they love each other.
He takes her dancing, holds her close.
She takes him on adventures,
Running through forests and chasing the white doves that fly over the dark sky.

When one messes up,
It takes over them.
They fall into an empty void until the other one
picks them back up,
Tells them it's going to be ok.

Without each other, they would be like puppies on
the street,
Clueless and alone.

Sometimes this fear breaks them,
Shatters their hearts into a million pieces.
Tears run down her cheeks as he wipes them
away.
He reassures her,
Calms her down.

They are the only ones who know how to pick
he pieces back up again.

The only thing that scares them the most is,
What will they do when the pieces have been
broken so many times,
That they are too tiny to put back together?
This fear could be the death of them,
But they don't let it get between them.
Because when the sun sets and the day is no
more,
It's him & her
I wrote this a while ago but idk
