Old Mother McCreery
Played on her washboard.
Time for nursery rhymes
That aren't worth a dime
But seriously
Yeah steel band music
On the corners of the streets
In Miami
In the old days,
Improvised bands with
All sorts of
Improvised instruments
And little boys
Playing on their miniature set of bongo,
Ukuleles, and harmonicas
All
Music in different ways.

Destry
Rides from the vestry
To pick out his best trees
For either the ridge line or
Tree line - I just can't tell
For his Bout with the infantry.
Dastardly and Motley are two
Of his favorite men.
Some of them can even root for
The suit for
Destry rides again
But i'm just tight again.
yeah, Destry Jones.

My Favorite Song
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Apples, peaches, pumpkin pie by Jay
And the Techniques. It doesn't give
Me cold chills (they go over so far)
But it reminds me when i hear it on
Oldies stations of the Vietnam generations
Which I created to love, the things I like to
Think they're generally for, and the soul
That lead singer Jay greenford to in
Person I bet, plusa whole lurk of a
Tracy great generation for the most part-the
Early name generation before that and the soldiers
Who fought then. The World War II generation
I can remember hearing apples, peaches....
Binding from the loud speakers of the square
U.S. recorded among of the them record stores
At or any times square as I took myself
Wilkornnces
Through when
I'd go to New York
In the midstates.
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Cough it up.
Cover it up.
I don't want it
But you do.
Wrap it up.
I'll take you through.
Easy!
Wrap yourself up.
I'll take you
And a box of cover. Propdog
You look so ****
Like old time movie star
Patrick Medina
The view of the ocean
And the sun as dusk
In heaven
Reminds me of
Both of you.

All The Voices
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
All the voices are wimped together,
Cloudy, and clear,
Here you'll see something that makes you deng,
Makes you hear,
Ciacress
You regress
And fret
Other getting wet.
Here you'll see
Progress outer tea,
A way to record
And lets get clear,
No fear,
And don't lear.

A Joke?
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
How sweet it is, to be loved by me, myself and I.
Out of the sky
Like a bullet
Comes the order to die.
God plays and favorites
We might as well the whole thing saves
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
I said sip harder,
No a lecture on Lex Barker
Or a peanut from Jimmy Carta,
Only if you're lonely
Due to a closed Burger King
And like a group sing
Over Yao Ming
And Lieutenant Ping
Of the Ping Pong.

Come On Down Lover
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Out of your perch in the trees,
Here I've spread a blanket
And I've gotten us a six pack
Of Coke and a king sized bag of chips
Let's enjoy the sand
And make a stand
For glam
Without a sham
For being roven hewn
With our venison
As we fall into each other's arms.
Soon the stars will be out
And we'll fall asleep with my arm
Around you.

Soul Man?
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
My gait
Can wait.
My fate
With a mate.
Can wait too.
I just want a soulmate.
Yea but i know I'm a solitary man
O.k. then yeah solitaire
And solitude
Both
I guess
I'll pass a test,
Don't you fret.

A bit of huney,
A bit of stick

As in carpentry tool,
Come here quick.

Frills
Hammer up
And let me lie a little.
On to the miter box.

Norman Soldiers
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
And tea for too few,
A sea where the moon is blue,
A rustic few
Seeing off
The sunlight
With an ink of blue
Deja Vu.
Norman Soldiers
Relinquish
In order to set out
A picnic dinner
In the basis
Soft camel, the animal
Quick had me a camel cigarette
Enough of nerve endings
That chomp at the bit
I won't smoke
But will soak it
In the ink of blue
For a souvenir

Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Mary, How is you garland?
You probably got something
From Carry
And your sense of humor
From George Carlin
I'll probably, if I get married again,
Marry a Mary,
Maybe not,
But I'm sure it'd improve my lot.
Things get hairy,
Without a Mary,
But never again with we tarry,
Over calling each other Gary,
Mary.

The Greatest Hippie
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Jesus was the first hippie,
One of few and the greatest of all.
If hippies who are people are sincere souls full of love.
It's suprising what different sizes
And varieties there are. Tommy James
Seems like a great one when he
Sings- Love, love is the answer. I'm
Sure he's sincere. I think the
Beatles really didn't mean it
When they sand -All you need
Is love.

About you being stunning
And I have no cunning
About you

About gunning for you
When you're much too young
Much too unsung
And maybe never been flung
Off

Hit Me Hard Wave
Charles Sturies Jun 2018
Out there at high tide
The force of almost a tidal wave
Getting hit hard by
Makes me crave
Some Florida orange juice
Eat a capon
And go out into the water at low tide
To tell the truth
With a batman cape on
Just to know my lies
If any
I heard they're many
But maybe white lies
About my service experiences
And immediate response to something in
A cigarette obviously
Charles Sturies Jun 2018

Steel does anything but heal
And you'll miss more than a meal
And if it's waves

For restricted positions

Keeping you loyal,
Not letting you boil,
Or worry about toil
Is no foil
For me
But a chance to pay my fees
And set me with this goal
Of feeling glee
And not playing the roll.

Thinking in themes
On concepts
Or cepts as they're called
In on pregonagurte literal
Mets school,
And not concertingring

Tex
If i could tell a tale
About a long, true Texan,
I'd go back to Tex-Mex
But free freddy fender
From all responsibility
For Tex.
Tex was a dog of a guy
Although a nam vet
He's struck me
As totally lost.
He couldn't function
At even the lowest level
Oh he had his cowboy hat
And his boodies
But his lips curved
And he was, yes, naive beyond all belier
I could go on further
About him but I won't.

A run down drive in Chapagin I stayed
In with a 'Girlfriend' so we could do it.

Opens up new visits,
Gives me a chance to interact,
Yeah the refreshments.
And a chance to win something,
Gives me a chance to share,
There are funny people,
You can kid around,
There's reminiscing,
Mind twisting,
And it's educational usually.

Charles Sturies May 2018
I'd stub my toe
If you'd blow
The glow
Right out of my flow.

I'd puff and stuff
If you'd bluff
On my Fluff
And leave me gruff.

I'd prpulate
If you'd coagulate
And leave a demilitarized zone
For your horses that roam.

I'd be difficult
If you'd discover that occult
In my tote bag
So my duffel bag wouldn't sag.

In passing
I'd just want a kiss
A not to my sis,
And a chance for us to do the fist.

I saw you on James Corden.
I liked your lime-mirange outfit.
It fought, yes, the boredom.
(I know, i seem fascinated by life,
But i still wouldn't handle it
With a knife).
I needed to watch it -the show
I needed a person like you just as much
As you Diana your mother.
I just wanted to be reminded of it like sometimes I feel there's
No other
Passion
posit - traction
Relaxin'
When there's a tax-in.
(It was around April fifteenth.
My money goes stright to
Don Monteita).
Just kiddin?
What's ripplin?
So the story goes
As sting says,
Just lookin in
On TV Land.
Is that such a sin?

And your clothes have nice laces

Yeah cash on the barrel-head
cash money, and paying the price.
So there'll be enough profits
from the products so that workers'

I read somewhere
that Patti Smith
was into early James Brown music
and I like particularly
his Chonnie on Chon Chon, the Bells,
and Bewildered but I threw
the albums they were on away
Someone just told me that
Patti Smith was one of
the early punk rockers.
I don't know much about that
or what it has to do with early
James Brown music
but I did like the ***
appeal she exuded
when I saw
publicity photos of her a
long while back
I'm not driving at anything
in particular but it's strange
how some things are
connected, isn't it?
The scope of James Brown
music might be the immense
and early James Brown
probably really isn't that great.
