My fear suspends me, I am heaven sent
Reaching for the stars my life depending on sweet mysteries
Never daring to know, to feel that love could grip me, could take me, could capture me and hurt me no more
my feet kiss the earth so gently
as they would my lips kiss the flesh of the lover that whispers
to me
my fingers playing with the wind
as my wings unfold and carry me further away
yet closely folding around the one,
the one who dreams of the dancer
and if I am called to the earth
to strong arms that envelop me
wrapping themselves around my flying body
that draws me down to meet the earth
fire energy drawn into me pulsing my heart so it feels it may burst
if I am held to the ground to the soil to the waters
never letting go, passion ripping through me
mind ablaze with image and crying to be taken in the midst of it all
what then?
