We've just launched the first part of what we're calling Hello Books. Now all members of Hello Poetry can create and sell books of their writings. There are three things we think you'll really like about this:



1) It is simple to create a book. It can be done in about 5 minutes if you have your poems on Hello Poetry.

2) You can customize the book

3) It is free to create books and writers keep 70% of all sales (by far the highest we've seen)



Books will be available to buy and read on Hello Poetry in the Bookshop. We will be opening the Bookshop in mid-April to give us some time to work out a few kinks here and there, but we are currently accepting submissions for books now and we encourage writers to get their submissions in quickly so we can approve them before the store opening.



Also, many other improvements here and there. Profiles have been improved dramatically (with a few more surprises coming soon). Language support is being rolled out slowly but surely (if you write in multiple languages, let us know). You can now upload "private" poems which only you can view. This helps those of you who want to keep an archive on here, but don't necessarily want to have all your work exposed to the world.



We can't wait to show you the Bookshop, but it's still not quite ready. We think this will be a great opportunity for all writers on Hello Poetry to use the exposure they've earned to help earn a living with their work. If we can make that happen, our job is done.
