Hello Books

You can now publish books of your work online at Hello Poetry. Currently, all books are created, bought, sold and read online. There is no charge to publish a book, you set the price of the book, and you receive 70% of the set price for each book sold. We provide you the tools to create your book, distribute and sell it online, share your book around the web and manage and receive earnings. At this time, we do not publish physical books, but we are exploring this.

Book Submission Process

  • Create a book using your Hello Poetry account in three steps.
  • Once you have finished creating and have reviewed your book, publish it.
  • Your book is immediately available for sale and available in our Bookstore and on your profile
  • Books not conforming to the Terms & Conditions or our Community Guidelines will be removed from the Bookstore.
  • Once published, books can be edited by contacting @hellopoetry.com

Payments & Earnings

  • You set the sales price of your book.
  • There is no charge to create a book.
  • You will receive 70% of the sales price for each book sold.
  • You track and manage earnings with your Hello Poetry account.
  • You must create a free Paypal account and provide it to us in order to receive your earnings.
  • You may request earning distributions to your Paypal account once every month with a minimum of 10.00 USD.

Publishing Terms & Conditions

By choosing to publish and distribute your work on Hello Poetry, you agree to the follow terms:

  • You are the creator of all work contained in the book (including the cover photo)
  • You have the rights to distribute, or sell the work contained in the book
  • All work contained in the book follows our Terms of Use
  • You acknowledge that books may be unpublished (in other words, no longer for sale) at any time, though anyone who has purchased the book while it was published will still have access to read the book.
  • You have read and agreed to all conditions and terms present in Book Submission Process and Payments & Earnings.

Any actions that violate these terms or Hello Poetry's Terms of Use may lead to a book being removed and potentially an account being deleted.
