I took a seat on a plastic bench in the middle of the mall.
To watch a kid point through a display window
And all I could see was his reflection; His dazzling awe
As he whispers; please, please, please
Daddy’s’ gnawing his lips
And he’s having a hard time hiding his despair
And I want to say, what you look so down about
You’ve got a beautiful child; a clean shave and white teeth
Then I saw her. The banshee
Steve!! Steve, look at what I got
Holding her arms out, bags upon bags hung from her
Skipping towards him letting her shiny shoes clap as they hit the ground
Look at what I got!
Oh he’s in for it now
And I can’t help but smile, as the little boy wonders off
Following shiny lights and hectic Christmas shoppers
Honey, we don’t have that kind of money
He’s tripping over himself, giggling
Dancing with the lights of Red white and green
With his beautiful innocence
And his premature smile.

Poetry is for those who know that emotion
Is encrypted within the words spoken
Poetry is for the curious, and the mysterious
Although most Poets are true, they’re irrepressibly mischievous
So open your mind before you open eyes
For this art often wears a bashful disguise

*Ink is *****, mixed with scarlet love
Words are jagged, and poetry is blood
Something you may all already know

The corners of her smile, reached over and took a hold of her ears
While her eyes jumped from each of mine.
I watched as fond turned to love, and love turned to tears,
As her fingers made their way down my spine,
*Your hair may smell like cider; and your mouth may taste of beers,
- But your love will always be a scarlet red wine.

I’ve been anticipating our little rendez vous
Your fingers weaved through mine
I admit it I may have been looking forward to it
To drown in your intoxicating perfume
As I purge myself of
Compulsion
Seduction
Repulsion
Obstruction
Destruction
Oh stranger you know me well
Will you take me with you
*to hell?

I dug my toes into the thick bristles of a rug,
Into its dark autumn colored floral pattern.
Then I stood alone talking to my glass mug,
In this old, run-down highway tavern.
It was quiet and I’ve never been here before,
But for some odd reason these faces looked familiar.
Oh happiness!, why must you to be such a *****?;
For In every desperate sip there is something peculiar,
Like the memories of love I’ve been trying to ignore.
But I’m contempt nonetheless, in my intoxicated womb,
I might have lost the battle tonight, but not the war;
For in every helpless sip, I’m drowning in a bitter roux.
Closing my eyes, while my life sneaks out of the back door,
-With every sip I take, I’m making love to you.

Rust covered the metal
like the print on a leopard

The city's filth gave it a gritty, sharp texture
******* me into a place I dare not venture

For the person you truly are, I will forever love you
but simply because you are human, I can’t help but hate you

You’re staring into my soul,
With your light hazel,
Mysterious black holes,

Oh you don’t really know
How much it rattles,
My weak brittle bones

****. I want to rip,
Off your thick iron,
Taunting clothes

Feasting on your neck,
Pulling on your light brown silhouette
While you drown in your,
Boiling Passionate sweat,

Sink your teeth,
Into me.

For I crave your dangerously seductive,
Moist and inarticulate whisper,
For I think I may be in love,
But I could just be eager

Silence is the sound you hear when you hit your head
A dog barking in some distant universe
It’s the faint, constant hum of car engines
The crunching snow under your boots
Silence is popping your knuckles
A buzzing street light
Branches scratching in the wind
Yes there is such a thing as silence, even in this sleepless city
You’re just too busy fiddling with your cellphone to appreciate it

I can almost hear snow hit the bare pavement
I can even hear the trees creak, Swaying naked
But I’m listening to my thoughts
And their deafening hum
Flowing at the rhythm of my heart
Beating numb.
And I’ve only just realized;
That there is no such thing as silence.
*Only inner peace

Oh! lustful pirate, I've watched you gaze over the sea,
Follow the horizon if you want to be with me.
Standing firm, looking glass to your face,
If you want my love youll have to pick up the pace.
You can bite, oh you can wrestle;
But youre just a boy riding along a cargo vessle.
Take a dive, and i'll make you a man,
I'll make it so you'll never step foot on land.
Jump in, dont be afraid,
What? havnt you ever gotten laid?.
Oh how exciting, its all happening so quick,
Now stop bobbing for air fool and let me bite off your ****.

What a beauty, sleeping sound.
Lost in her dreams, speaking aloud.

Upon her forehead, a ****** kiss;
murdered by her charming prince.

Blood on the walls. Blood on the bed,
toes and fingers on the floor and a hole in her head.

Time stood still.
As i laid a rose upon her window sill.

I said my goodbyes, and off i went,
Done with one fairy tail, and off to the next.

She stepped out
One foot at a time
Steam rolling out from behind her
Beams of fluorescent light spearing through
Only to amplify her presence
She was wrapped in a white towel
Held up delicately by her *******
Silhouetting her waist, her thighs
My personal goddess, I thought
And so she left behind these little footprints
For me to hop in with yellow galoshes
Dancing in the fog of our love

Rain down on me

I have very little memory of my childhood,
But I do remember grade 3
And a boy who’s name I cannot recall
The class’ clown; making the other children laugh with utter fear,
He was big and stood over me with his shaved head,
You’re a ******* idiot     He whispered tauntingly
You are the dirt on my sneakers
I never really responded to his cutting humor
Except for that cold white after noon
When that eary bell rang with urgency,
And from the corner of my eye I watched
The flocks of children running for the school
Slipping and trampling over each other
Squeezing through the doors,
While janitors buttered the doorway.
We didn’t move.
He slouched over me with his thumbs sticking out of his pockets
His scalp was raw, and cherry red.
I’m going to **** you.
I said it making sure there was enough phlegm in my throat
His face lit up with a ridiculous smile
I am going to ******* **** you
He roared with laughter, and took me by the hair
Then spat in my eye.
And if it wasn’t for my instinct to live, I would’ve stuck him
With the plastic pen I’ve been sharpening for 2 weeks
Instead I tasted the strawberry jam wedged in the crook of my mouth
Along with blood that slowly seeped through the cracks in my lips

Little does he know, I have been plagued with madness
And I will **** him
…Eventually

In this large rustic cradle
Which way to the Nile?
written for a school assignment, feedback?

Every night
I find myself
Back here
Writing on the walls
Of my domestic asylum
With **** out cigarettes,
And warm beer
In hope
That one day...
It’ll all make sense

She’s behind the glass barricade
Sheltered from ruthless spectators
Knocking and making faces
In the strobe of their
Disposable cameras

She’s crossing her legs
And twirling her hair

*I’m on the outside as well...
But I know there is much more
Going on in that
Tangled mind of yours
Than these people want
To believe

We strolled up
And down
The narrow isle
Weaving in and out
Of shopping cart barricades
And unmanaged children
Butter was 5.99
Grated Cheese 6.99
Tuna; a dollar a can
3 bags of pasta for 5 dollars
Food is indeed
Priceless

For hunger may strike the gut.
But it’s nothing compared to
What it’ll do
To the fragile mind

Her eyes glazed over with a sudden twinkle of calmness
As the crescent on her lips began to wax
Then she spoke in a warm and almost inarticulate whisper
Tasting every word in its saccharine delicacy

I love you

And i know that for as long as I could find her hairs under my pillow
Under the sheets or on my shoulder, I will love her more
older poem that ive worked on

She had a fever as hot as the sun
So hot it set countries aflame
And drowned islands in her sweat
Eventually her hair started to fall out
And scabs of concrete began crawl all over her body
The doctor said she had parasites
Devouring her slowly
Intelligent creatures, he called them
Spreading like butter and building cities in her skin
He didn’t tell her, but the parasites will eat her
And when they’re done ******* the bones
They’ll eat each other
Personally, I don’t think we’ll last that long

She was a free spirit

Come back to me baby, you left your lips under my pillow,
You know i spent the night, sitting up in that weeping willow;
She cries through the night on that street corner,
She says its nice to know me we understand eachother;
To be misunderstood, bound to this earth by our roots,
In the rain, snow and hail im sinking in my boots,
The world drives by changing lanes in a rush;
Chasing its own tail for it never gets enough,
And so i caress her branches kissing her bark,
While the lights go by like fireflies in the dark

Its winter again
Times’ Getting colder, and darker
And she’s coming home
To take away my lover-
My passionate therapy
Oh she’s come to take my best friend
And whatever is left of my sanity
**Take it, take it all and put them in ******* bags
-But don’t you ******* touch my poetry
A message to an old acquaintance, our encounter is inevitable.

The doorbell rings
Another restless night
Interrupted

It’s Antonio
Standing in the rain
With a six pack cradled in his arms

Go home, Vivaldi
This is getting out of hand

A torn baseball cap
Barely taming his tangled
Madness

I’ve got nowhere else, man
Just one more night..
I brought beer

*…alright
