Red Wine
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
The corners of her smile, reached over and took a hold of her ears
While her eyes jumped from each of mine.
I watched as fond turned to love, and love turned to tears,
As her fingers made their way down my spine,
*Your hair may smell like cider; and your mouth may taste of beers,
- But your love will always be a scarlet red wine.

Orange Pekoe
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
It was a beautiful day
Warmer than the usual
I woke up with thoughts of you
And a cup of black tea
With no sugar, or milk
one single cream
And I watched it explode
Into a white cloud
Of luscious smoke
I watched it spin
I watched it implode
..Dancing alone
Then I dipped my spoon
Tore it away
So I could take a sip
Of this beautiful day..
and I never realized how easy
It was to completely
destroy
Life’s subtle beauty

Cough it out
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
Choking, i spat out a piece of my lung,
Into the white porcelain sink,
Then after brief pause, I lit up another one.
And used the black tar as ink.
A Note from an asthmatic smoker.

Love me?
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
Do you see? With your light brown eyes;
That I want YOU and not your bashful disguise.
For every hair, that blows in this November wind,
Kissing the smile you try so hard to hold in,
And I hope that my actions tell you, what I should’ve said.
I think I might just love you-
                 But you’re probably better off dead.

Asthma Attack
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
When you touched me, with those thin red lips,
I was shaking in my skin, holding on to your hips.
Won’t you bite me? Send shocks down my studded back.
You know, when we kissed you stole my breath-
And gave me an asthma attack.
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
I’d like to see the day where;
Boys become Men,
Instead of a robot, or a Tim Horton’s blend
Where girls, can grow to be women,
Without being deceived or beaten,
Where a kid can be a kid,
And not what we see today, God forbid!

Your back to the grapefruit sky.
Your heart is a closed fist,
And i cant help but wonder why?

Lips
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
I'm digging a hole,
Through my chest,
Then into my soul.
Its my comfortable nest,
But i know need to go,
Before itll infest,
This barely beating coal,
And im afraid that the rest,
Will rott and will mold,
So fish me out of this,
Concrete corner.
From the whom of this abyss,
For you know its only getting harder,
To avoid life's, infectious kiss,
   -Her sinister, crimson red lips

Just People Watching
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
He raised his eyebrows, puckering his lips.
Bearing a watch on each of his wrists,
Along with a large leopard print cowboy hat;
To hide his long shiny inglorious black
I think he noticed me watching, which surely wasn’t new,
Cause he smiled and blinded me with his polished gold tooth.
Under the heels of his leather feet, the side walk shattered,
Walking slowly, he leaves behind what he’s fractured.
-Walking into tomorrow, he starts a new chapter.

Its getting colder
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
Children dressed in oversized jersey's; lined with white stripes,
Are brawling in the street playing out their favorite hockey fights.
And the sidewalk was tucked in under a soft white blanket,
Memories of summer and autumn are falling out of a hole in my pocket.
The smell of fresh bagels filled the britle winter atmosphere,
And The sun blew me a kiss goodbye, for the early darkness was near.
I was choking on my burgandy nitted noose,
Turning the page to the comics, while i pulled my scarf loose,
I stopped to watch A single leaf hold on to that bold maple tree,
Taken by the wind, and into the suburban montreal esprit,
So i pried out a silver flask from my old levis jacket,
While the memories of summer and autumn fell out of a hole in my pocket.

Im only Sleeping
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
You sing yourself to sleep in an ice cold tub,
Life is cheap and so is a gun,
You shiver and make love to your cigarette,
Tonight your going down wearing a tin can baret,
You know, opurtunity is a simple game of russian roulette,
And so you ponder life one last time,
The life youve just traded in for a dime,
Biting down on the barrel, its cold and it numbs your lips,
Its but an inevitable prophecy like the solar eclipse,
through the muffled silence; youre singing,
-"Please, don't wake me, no, don't shake me
Leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping"

Weeping through the leaves
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
Come back to me baby, you left your lips under my pillow,
You know i spent the night, sitting up in that weeping willow;
She cries through the night on that street corner,
She says its nice to know me we understand eachother;
To be misunderstood, bound to this earth by our roots,
In the rain,snow and hail im sinking in my boots,
The world drives by changing lanes in a rush;
Chasing its own tail for it never gets enough,
And so i caress her branches kissing her bark,
While the lights go by like fireflies in the dark

Ive spent a good amount of time, looking at you.
Fascinated by your overlooked beauty.
Its those thin peach lips, and that warm grin,
Your fierce eyes, and velvet skin;
An autumn hazel, that pulls me in,
And so i thought maybe id let you know;
That i want you, from head to toe,
I want you baby, from your heart to soul.

Oh! lustful pirate, I've watched you gaze over the sea,
Follow the horizon if you want to be with me.
Standing firm, looking glass to your face,
If you want my love youll have to pick up the pace.
You can bite, oh you can wrestle;
But youre just a boy riding along a cargo vessle.
Take a dive, and i'll make you a man,
I'll make it so you'll never step foot on land.
Jump in, dont be afraid,
What? havnt you ever gotten laid?.
Oh how exciting, its all happening so quick,
Now stop bobbing for air fool and let me bite off your ****.

Diamond
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
Deep in its darkness;
There lies an infinite light,
Dancing in the distance;
Through the faint mist of the night.
Lying naked, on the cold moist concrete.
Dazzled by her elegance;
As she gracefully promenades the street,
She shines white, shades of blue,
She shines bright;
Regardless of the opaque gloom.
Paralyzed, My pupils wither,
She's making her way,
Like the cool numbing winter.
Oh you are but a beautiful stranger,
-A moonlit diamond, playing in the water

sleeping beauty
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
What a beauty, sleeping sound.
Lost in her dreams, speaking aloud.

Upon her forehead, a ****** kiss;
murdered by her charming prince.

Blood on the walls. Blood on the bed,
toes and fingers on the floor and a hole in her head.

Time stood still.
As i laid a rose upon her window sill.

I said my goodbyes, and off i went,
Done with one fairy tail, and off to the next.

Fear
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
I took a hand full of frosted door ****,
My skin glued to the brushed chrome finish,
Like pitch forks and torches I spewed out of a mob,
A raw bone aching anguish,
Stepped in through the doorway leaving behind snowy footprints,
I stepped in the doorway leaving behind morbid hints,
Subtle snores filled the air a man sitting up in a sofa chair,
Biting down, trapped in his middle-class nightmare,
Eyes open slow expecting the unknown,
Then his nails dig into the leather as his pupils impload,
He chatters through his teeth a breathless "help" in Morse code,
So I held up my index finger, and said in a moist whisper,
"Don’t say a ******* word."
He broke out in a wide-eyed choppy nod,
Baby, in this hell this dark world,
There is no such thing as an all merciful loving god,
The night was silent especially in this dark room,
A man with soiled pants stares out into the empty gloom,
With his effortlessly open jaw and his imminent doom.

Little Boy
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
He stood up in his bed, lightning struck from the clouds of cigarette smoke above his head. Pupils large like saucers in his eyes.  Dead skin around his lips, bed covered in last night’s fries.  Forearms infested with cigarette burns, like ****** tattoos in Braille. Yet he smiles, and through the silence you can hear his lips crack. Eyes wide and brows twitch
**** them, *****
Little bill swings his legs off the side of his bed, the bed springs creak as he stands. On his toes, he heads for the door. Walking slow, sweaty footprints on the hardwood floor.
**** them
He walks into the kitchen, using his cell phone for light. Slides open the drawer and picks up the largest knife. A straight A student, who knew he was ****** in the head. Surely he didn’t walk into his parents’ room with his knife to cut bread. He stood over his father, while he snored in his deep slumber. Smiled and burst out into an uncontrollable laughter. Little bill ran his fingers up the edge of the knife. Stabbed him repeatedly. Stabbed him dozens of times and made sure he did it right.

Flying
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
So when you fell out the window, light struck you blind,
She laughed her *** off; while she pushed from behind,
Let the smog cradle you as you drop in slow motion,
You’re falling head first; into a glistening street light ocean,
The winds' in your hair; blowing by a sudden sense of freedom,
And you’re falling head first; into a golden street light kingdom,
You looked up to the sky and your 18th story window,
Blew a kiss goodbye; to the stars and your Timeless widow.

Do it it’s easy, clench your teeth don’t be queasy,
She lies as she speaks I know she’s ******,
I hear them whisper I hear them scream,
They say get rid of her, and cut her lean,

Leave me alone please,

Oh shut up you fiend,
There’s a gun in the drawer and a pillow under your head,
I’ll tell you what we’ll set her on fire instead,
Doesn’t matter what you do as long as she’s dead,

-Stop it, just stop it.

She’s no good for you shell probably **** you in your sleep.

-No,

You’re not the same anymore, so dumb, so weak,
Use the sheets don’t let any of it leak,

-*******,

Listen to yourself, talking to the ceiling,
You better shut and do as I say; she can hear you screaming,
And I can see it in her eyes I know she’s cheating,
Do it quick, it’s painless; she won’t live to know the feeling,

I’m going to **** you.

**** me baby, but I’ll still be here tomorrow,
When you stare me down through the mirror.
Why do you tremble? You don’t know fear.
Open your eyes *******, I’m right here.

-Where are you?

What are pointing that at?, I’m inside,
You want to **** me? Open wide.
Pull the trigger, pull it.
Put the barrel in your mouth, swallow the bullet,
That’s the only way to go, you know it,
So what are you waiting for?
Pull it.

Love
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
I fell in love a while ago,
To an exciting, divine and beautiful gal;
I loved her to death, in taste and in smell.
She was an exhilarating specimen; taught me laugh, live and love.

The thought of her, grinded my teeth, and ached my bones,
Hell the thought of her gnawed my lips and curled my toes.
At sight she shrunk my pupils and widened my eyes,
She gave me Goosebumps yet she was the raging fire inside.

Oh she was my one, my only. My snowflake, my perfect beauty.
-Her name was ******* and she ******* loved me.

I’m growing tired,
Of opening the door,
To an empty chamber,
Of useless, painful lore.
Oh I’ve grown sick,
Of this cradled,
Lust for the kick.
And so I stared aimlessly,
At the flame engulfed wick.
While I cut her carefully,
Into perfect piles,
I’m in love with her.
And her 365 smiles.

Roux
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
I dug my toes into the thick bristles of a rug,
Into its dark autumn colored floral pattern.
Then I stood alone talking to my glass mug,
In this old, run-down highway tavern.
It was quiet and I’ve never been here before,
But for some odd reason these faces looked familiar.
Oh happiness!, why must you to be such a *****?;
For In every desperate sip there is something peculiar,
Like the memories of love I’ve been trying to ignore.
But I’m contempt nonetheless, in my intoxicated womb,
I might have lost the battle tonight, but not the war;
For in every helpless sip, I’m drowning in a bitter roux.
Closing my eyes, while my life sneaks out of the back door,
-With every sip I take, I’m making love to you.

All Dressed In Glass
Bilal Kaci Nov 2013
The big breasted bartender smiles,
As I pull out a tall burgundy bar stool;
From under a mosaic table with green tiles.
She said drink till your hearts contempt,
But don’t you look like a fool.
I nodded with agreement, not sure of what she said,
Then tipped her in change, which seems to be the rule.
Soft songs played the ambiance yet the silence wasn’t new.
Red Christmas lights lined the rugged bricks.
I didn’t come here for love, but for a poisonous fix;
And as I take sips of my Smokey beer, I’m kissing you,
So come to me baby, with your thin glass hips,
-And your lips of morning dew.

You’re staring into my soul,
With your light hazel,
Mysterious black holes,

Oh you don’t really know
How much it rattles,
My weak brittle bones

****. I want to rip,
Off your thick iron,
Taunting clothes

Feasting on your neck,
Pulling on your light brown silhouette
While you drown in your,
Boiling Passionate sweat,

Sink your teeth,
Into me.

For I crave your dangerously seductive,
Moist and inarticulate whisper,
For I think I may be in love,
But I could just be eager
