It doesn't bother me
That you turned out to be like all the others
My heart didn't break

I don't care
That yesterday was nothing
I won't cry

Not for you
Not for me
Never again, for anyone.

The flowers sway
They are saying, Sayonara
You are fading boy...

Butterfly wings
Time seems endless
Don't ever forget

It's always the same ending
The princess always gets her golden haired lover

And what of the others?
Who are left with watery smiles
And hearts ripped in two

Love sometimes feels as if it's too sweet
Since they say prince's love a damsel in distress

And what if you put on your own glass slipper?
With an air of independence
And bandages covering that sore spot on the right

It never was easy watching another's happiness
When it seems as if yours was denied those many years ago

And so what if you cry
Every now and then
And sometimes you drown

It's always the same ending
The princess always gets her undeserving tale that ends with "Happily Ever After"

And yours forever with a rope that promises peace and a chair that makes you feel important for a final moment

It's broken
And you can't fix it, not anymore

It's tumbling
And there's no way you'll reach it as it falls

It's fading
And you'll continue to watch it disappear

I'm losing
And you won't give me this one victory

I'm fighting
And there's no chance of stopping me now

I'm an extra
And that's who I'll always be

There once was a princess...

Who needed help to escape
From all of the towers
That kept her locked away

She wanted to run from it all

They made her stay

She once knew a samurai...

Who fought for love and honor
With an iron heart
And believed he could save the world

When he could not even save himself

From the demons that taunted him
When the stars came into view

There once was a story I had read long ago
About two souls
That understood each other

More than you could ever know

There was a woman
She always wore gowns of tumbling silk
Who loved with all her being

A man
Never seen without his armor
Who fought to save with all he had

Time held a grudge over him

And so,

They fell.

Can I have one of those fancy cameras?

So I can take fancy pictures.
Wearing fancy clothes.

And pretend life's perfect

Like the girl holding her perfect camera
Taking fancy pictures
Wearing her fancy clothes

Because her life's flawless

Can I have one of those fancy cameras?

So I can deceive you with
My million dollar smile
Wearing my fancy clothes

Because it's always easier to stand behind a fancy camera
Than have to face all the fancy people.
