The fanfare begins
The feet of 100 nervous graduates come together
Attentive to the music, an oral instruction book for their march to the stage
And you
In the mess of individuals stick out like a sore thumb in my eyes

Unwillingly, I service these instructions for you
Directed by the make of these processional blueprints

I rebel against the document in front of me
With symbols that speak of melodies, harmonies, and chords

Slow the tempo
Stretch the fermata's
Refrain from that horrid second ending, which proclaims your childhood

Fine

Save me, Mr. Conductor, from the Recessional, where we say
Goodbye
And you exit to the parking lot
While I exit to the band room, which will no longer consist of our jokes and laughter
Rather silence and empty moments that should have been filled with smiles and conversation
Conversation shared between two friends
A friendship that died in a gym
A friendship that died because of me
My trumpeter friend who is graduating this year
I was born by your love
raised on your word
so why now
do I find it all so absurd?
when I fall astray
does your love fade away?
if I'm doomed to damnation
do you put forth the concentration
to bring this sinner salvation?

& The guy with the
:) eyes
took his pistol,
to his head
& Bam.

It's a brain-blow-out!

Or a
beautiful- bouquet
of blood-black & red roses.

It is for sure,
An Ode To.......

Blowing up Billionaires
By the Billion.

& SO the guy with the :) eyes
Blew out the first
half of his head.

While the last half.
Well, it just bled black.

For once, for twice, I found my knife,
And drew across my tragic life
To paint it all a vivid, flowing red.

But mists will clear, you'll find me here,
with wounds and scars too faded to be seen.

I've fooled you once, I've fooled you twice,
I may have even fooled you thrice,
And all the while the pain you saw
Was tortured and ungodly raw,
I pulled it all from deep within my soul.

And as you saw the blood pour out,
My thoughts and senses drowned your doubt,
And though it all was fake, I felt it still.

Too bad, too late, I drew my fate,
With tales of knives and ******, damaged flesh.

My sore regret is all that's mine,
As all the others start to shine,
I had your gaze but now it's gone for good.

I died once,
just to see what it was like
(it doesn’t matter how,
so I won’t bother saying)
my curiosity had bested me
and so I did what I had to
in order to see

Like Thomas,
my dying eyes were flooded
by white mice and roses,
all in constant motion as my
eyelids finally shut
although the darkness had
embraced me absolutely,
a kind of clairvoyance
unknown to me picked me
up and swept me away
still blind, I found my footing
and I waited
and waited

Silently, a light broke above me,
falling thickly onto my shoulders
like condensed milk
and then, from somewhere
a voice spoke, tragic and booming:

“YOU’RE EARLY.”

I winced at the reverberations
echoing into nothingness
I couldn’t muster any reply
beyond a half-trembling shrug

There was a quick snap,
and the peculiar feeling of standing
on a trapdoor that’s about to drop
and, at last, I was back;
returned to my mortal coil,
gulping breaths of air
cold and deep and new

The sun graces them, sexuality raw and smoldering,
racing female hearts: warming the regions, causing the senses
to run wild. Like fever, like untouchable madness and the
cure lies only within these potent, Charming Badasses
whose mere glances cause me to lose all logic, reason
and morals. One glance, one touch, one word
and reason shall vacate and Lust will take
over, forever residing within.
