Who knew 2020 would be the year  that we all came to fear?
Locked all inside ,isolated, alone and nowhere to hide..

All encompassing, all maddening,

THe darkness invaded the room,
There was no escaping it.
The sliver of light left disappeared

We could see but she didn't,

They all  watched

Blinded by the view

Different endings
Different paths
Different roads
Different outcomes
Different beginnings
Different pages turning
Different / Same?

I was so glad to be your Door.
Nothing got through,
which gave you time to Soar..

flowers popping up all

A cloud that has dropped from

Everyone saw it in the sky.
It came in a rush and then flew by.
It didn't come alone; It came with the Wind and the Rain.

Why am I the invisible one?
Who chose it for me?
Was it them?
Or was it Me?

be free enough to Fly?

just soar above the clouds?

The journey had started
The end wasn't clear
Each step was a beginning,
No time for fear.

Only she  cared how this would end
No echoes of others
She walks alone.

We question the Beginning,
We applaud the Middle,
We deny the End.

As I was running I never looked
back.
You were there waiting as I lost
track.
I lost you on that track.
I regret never looking  back.

It started with a Hello
It ended with a Goodbye.
Everything in between was just ingredients in a mixer.

You can hear the winds from inside my walls.
   Nature at its strongest so we can hear it when it calls.
   Raindrops beat with a rhythm against the window panes.
   Nothing dry remains.

You walked by and never saw me.
I wasn't what you were looking for.
I was just that nobody that you didnt see.
We number thousands.  
We are nobody.

Nothing moves
Nothing  breathes
Nothing gains
Nothing to be contained
        Within the pain

I stood before Man and got nowhere.
I stood before Woman and received the same.
I stood by myself and got nowhere.
I stood alone with no one to blame.

The death of One
Is a death to All.
How far do we need to Fall?

Only she knew,
She sat alone and
became accustomed too it.
No one called,
No one came.
No choices given.
Only She Knew..

Everyday we turn a page.
Who says greatness arrives just for   the few?
Let's all learn something we never knew.
It's Time to Turn the pages and begin anew.

Darkness rolled in at the middle
of the day.
Destruction soon followed and all
  She could do was pray.
Time to rebuild all that was lost-
Emotions ran high to keep it together no  
    matter the cost.
Dreams maybe shattered, the perfect
    family is gone-
She wondered if any of it was real or was
   She just the pawn?

I'm not the answer to your problems.
I'm just away around them.
Use me up until they're gone,
For now I will be your pawn.

When is a poem not a poem and just a ramble of spoken words?
This one here is just a thought
that I wanted to be heard.

Are we all not standing in our own quicksand of pain..? Sinking down with each movement.

The drops of rain
smashed against the window pain.
Their rythum matched the beat of her heart.
Each drop, each beat
grew as one.
They now were the same
no difference,  just equal parts.

We stand at the beginning
and look for the end.
   Whatever we  seek we may never find...
    Still we go on.

Used to come easily,
Now it taunts me while
    I'm awake.
It's all there bed, pillow,
     and darkness.
Yet it refuses to come.
Dreams Await

First snow is set to fall.,
Not ready for it at all.
First it's all oozs and ahhs
Then we turn and we shiver
With thought of more on its way.
Pull the covers and wish it away....

We spoke of the past
We spoke of the future
Yet we go unspoken for the now.

I wished upon a star,
but the wish didn't get far.
The stars were already aligned.

No one was knocking at my door
with riches galore.

My future had already been assigned.

Dreams filter in as the setting sun plays tag through the trees.
Colors explodes across the sky and all that was today drifts away..

Who can see the suffering as you stand in the rain and the teardrops become invisible?

Time stands still
like a watched ***.
Never moving in our eyes
but forever changing our view.

She was a throw away girl.
The one that was used.

I climb the stairs never getting   to the top..
How many times have I chose to
stop?

There are so many roads untaken.
So many paths unwalked.
Footsteps leading nowhere..
Footprints leading everywhere..

We sit back and watch the plight of others and shake our heads for their dismay.
We offer prayers and well wishes as we go about our day.
Is it because we dont chose to see or is it easier to view from our side of the street than walk away?

He stood tall and majestic with all his glorious color hiding his inner beings.
Still Mother Nature with her winds uncovered the hidden secrets that dwelled under the skeleton of its soul.
Standing naked nothing left to hide the wind did it's job .
Naked to the world and no cover to marvel,
Standing tall waiting for the rebirth.

We stand together but so far apart.
Window panes arent the only thing that separates our hearts.

Should they  wonder?
Should you care if they do?
Would it change how you feel?
Would you go on?
It was part of the deal,
Whether  you knew it or not.
