We spoke of the past
We spoke of the future
Yet we go unspoken for the now.

Nothing moves
Nothing  breathes
Nothing gains
Nothing to be contained
        Within the pain

Everyday we turn a page.
Who says greatness arrives just for   the few?
Let's all learn something we never knew.
It's Time to Turn the pages and begin anew.

You can hear the winds from inside my walls.
   Nature at its strongest so we can hear it when it calls.
   Raindrops beat with a rhythm against the window panes.
   Nothing dry remains.

Dreams filter in as the setting sun plays tag through the trees.
Colors explodes across the sky and all that was today drifts away..

We stand together but so far apart.
Window panes arent the only thing that separates our hearts.

Everyone saw it in the sky.
It came in a rush and then flew by.
It didn't come alone; It came with the Wind and the Rain.

In its wake nothing stood where it passed by.

Who knew 2020 would be the year  that we all came to fear?
Locked all inside ,isolated, alone and nowhere to hide..
All we heard is stay inside ..
As we wait to hear ..
There is Nothing more to fear.

We sit back and watch the plight of others and shake our heads for their dismay.
We offer prayers and well wishes as we go about our day.
Is it because we dont chose to see or is it easier to view from our side of the street than walk away?

Why am I the invisible one?
Who chose it for me?
Was it them?
Or was it Me?

There are so many roads untaken.
So many paths unwalked.
Footsteps leading nowhere..
Footprints leading everywhere..

You walked by and never saw me.
I wasn't what you were looking for.
I was just that nobody that you didnt see.
We number thousands.  
We are nobody.

I was so glad to be your Door.
Nothing got through,
which gave you time to Soar..

I climb the stairs never getting   to the top..
How many times have I chose to
stop?

As I was running I never looked

Nobody can know the pain inside.
Nobody can know the feelings buried deep and wide.
Nobody knows what drives the pain.
Nobody sees what you buried inside.

Are we all not standing in our own quicksand of pain..? Sinking down with each movement.

of the day.

First snow is set to fall.,
Not ready for it at all.
First it's all oozs and ahhs
Then we turn and we shiver
With thought of more on its way.
Pull the covers and wish it away....

He stood tall and majestic with all his glorious color hiding his inner beings.
Still Mother Nature with her winds uncovered the hidden secrets that dwelled under the skeleton of its soul.
Standing naked nothing left to hide the wind did it's job .
Naked to the world and no cover to marvel,
Standing tall waiting for the rebirth.

The drops of rain
smashed against the window pain.
Their rythum matched the beat of her heart.
Each drop, each beat
grew as one.
They now were the same
no difference,  just equal parts.

The journey had started
The end wasn't clear
Each step was a beginning,
No time for fear.

Only she  cared how this would end
