Ayetrayn Dec 2013
born underwater a ****** to the birth of creation
complacent verses bathing in lakes wasted her patience
ocean poems emotive prose the notions grow
breast strokes sowed in silly string civilized sovereignty
divinity’s reliance divided by Earth’s dire needs
fires breathe regardless of the rain she breeds
seeds beneath the sand hold no reason to lie in wake
so we speak in foreign tongues with dominance a mistake
to take her language for another world
visions died with imminence and grandiosity
a coliseum’s misconstruction catalyzed combustion’s coldest counterculture
living within the wind sinning stings it’s singularity
glaring stares impaired all sages of their clarity
careful conscious turned rotten swimming in the toxins
glossy water robs apostles of oxygen
filtered riddles fiddled this conviction’s symmetry
& now the god’s live in ignorance and misery
crimson skies abysmal cries they’re looking at the ground
astounded to the loud doubts that overpower clouds
powdered optometry devoured flowers of their solitude
another rotten petal for every sentiment left misunderstood
confused prisoners gifted with the write to think
proles sentenced to wonder why the caged bird sings
a paradox of broken thoughts to question it’s intentions
matter undermined the undefined enlightenment
spirals in the light comprise a present tense
evanescent destination sensei keep I humble
so many stripes up in my wavelengths
widowed endorphins scrape the pain away
balanced chemically an efficacy of electricity
many marvel but the master’s prophecy is destiny
Ayetrayn Nov 2013
dream louder the clouds mirror aims closer to perfection
professionally tested to send you a different angle
strangers retract the rain, makes the sane feint
I’m on a bus to Vegas with 85 dollars to my name
I just bought a notebook and a pack of pens
ask me what I care about, stare into the eye of god
ask me about my whereabouts, I would say
know where to be found, resounded purity
infectious lessons tested limits of the heavens
sentenced ever so delicate to shower with the stars
to plan without execution is merely dreaming
ditch your schematics, aspirations make it right
thriving for a glass ladder to make it one more night
my stepping stones were always granite
when I canceled plans to dance in solace
and all it showed me was my ruthlessness
this mess was your pain as well
I stained your fairy tale where heroes died victim
rebels lied in wake passively attentive
to the fact that fate was fake
it’s no mistake when we’re all born stars
Ayetrayn Nov 2013
a toast to the gods of self preservation
twenty one with plenty coming
allowing to pound sounds within
the crown aroused voided a founders of it’s bruises
spells hold the fold, I’m coasting with the best
resting in the east so I sleep with blinds low
the comfort zone is far from solitude
my molecules have aptitude to channel Jupiter
seatbelts are useless wastes of matter, excuse me
just a minute so you can miss me with that individuality
your calloused grip on reality impairs the singularity
old school, gold noose, silver lined diamonds
Jesus pieces reaped the seeds that teach your blind lids
came back with scabbed knuckled and heart scars
hustled the portal of pretension ever so ethereally
inner synthesis purged the day the plague hit
on the courts or the graves, you name the slaves
the game slayed the day the chains changed hands
Ayetrayn Nov 2013
only the good die rough
homies in the hood have tough ties
wrists cuffed in gold lacking its prismatic appeal
fashion how to ride the wave without an ocean
slaves to the potion addicted to it’s drips
fill my veins with conspirators
I have lies inside of me
but I will die an angel
cause when the reigns change hands
the beast dies first
never cursed to the verses of your past lives
there is no drug more pure than clarity
when right and wrong was a double entendre
communicated a dissonance to duality
sly peasants moan to support their guilty habits
an empty chalice grasped by calloused hands
cancer ridden epiphanies that maybe
this really isn’t your fault
the vault has been empty for too long
don’t take advice from any more fortune cookies
