The Observer Mutters
Augustine Morphy Mar 2017
I was meant to be
With someone such as she
Said he,
So softly,
Whilst looking on them.

The Orbit
Augustine Morphy Dec 2016
Not in the orbit,
Not caught in the orbit,
Nevertheless,
By circumstance,
Near the orbit.

Approaching the threshold of the orbit,
On the precipice of the orbit,
Resisting the orbit,
Resisting the orbit,
Resisting the orbit.

Unable to leave the orbit,
Unable to leave the orbit,
Like the rest of them,
Part of the orbit,
Drawing others to the orbit.

The Terrible Tricolour
Augustine Morphy Dec 2016
Black met White,
And together,
They drew Red.

The philosopher's stone was forged
In a head-on collision.

White Mother.
Black Other.
Red Child of Life.

Abandoned.
Born of conflict.
Forgotten but forever remembering.

The real holy trinity is a terrible tricolour.

Four Perspectives
Augustine Morphy Dec 2016
So much to do,
So much time.

So little to do,
So much time.

So much to do,
So little time.

So little to do,
So little time.
