Silhouettes
Ariadne Jan 2017
We're becoming silhouettes
in the hands of this moon.
Watch the dance of the stars
and we'll stay the night
making some sort of lovesong
with touching skin with skin
and moaning loudly
about ecstasy

Love is love
Ariadne Jul 2016
Lin-Manuel Miranda got up
on the stage and said
love is love is love is love is love is love.

and I kept my hand on my chest
and told you that I loved you
more than the sea loves the shore.

I will become a moon
in the hands of all this desire;
and you keep trying

to be the sun.

Thighs
Ariadne Jul 2016
I find stories between the valleys
of her thighs, and I know
that maybe sometimes
my mother thinks I'm burning in hell
or going to.

But how can I tell her this,
that I've found more softness
and a heaven of my own
here, in the midst of her skin,
and maybe, just maybe
let me lie here

until I go
to my eventual hell.
Just a thought.

Evermore
Ariadne Jun 2016
Touch me
because I'm starting to think
that the gasoline I poured onto myself
has lost its potency.

Touch me
because maybe I'll light up like the sky
you never said you wanted.

Or maybe
You'll touch my wet skin
and think
she's already drowned.

And leave.
