Your pillow
Anni Sand Jul 2016
When times get rough,
when you need that extra strength.
When all you feel is worry,
when you can't go that extra length.

Let me be your pillow,
where you can rest your tired head.
I'll take away your burden,
if you only climb into bed.

Let me be your blanket,
I'll wrap you in my love.
Close your tired eyes
and let all your worries go.

Let me be your pillow,
turn me into a fort where you can hide.
Use my walls as protection,
from all pain and heartache outside.

Let me be your blanket,
I'll shelter your broken heart.
Wrap you in strength and stability,
give you a fresh new start.

When you feel your feet can't walk,
when it hurts with every step you take.
When life has torn your soul apart,
when you feel you will break.

Climb into bed my love,
because this bed was made for you.
I'll make you forget all your pain,
every heartache you've ever been through.

Close your eyes and fall asleep,
let me take away all stress.
Because my love, I am the bed

where you can finally rest.
