Born of a wealthy family,
A child pampered and needy,
He started making his own ,
Left him spoiled and very greedy,

He felt he wanted more,
A woman in his life,
Someone to call his own,
To someday call his wife,

He left in his flashy car,
Searched for the perfect score,
But I had no idea,
He'd begin to ring my door,

I answered in a flash,
As an instinct from my heart ,
Led me to the boy,
who would use me from the start,

He liked the way I'd smile,
I was the perfect pick,
Such an easy target,
As I answered far too quick,

Forgot that with his money,
I was the perfect toy,
Never to be enough,
For the needy wealthy boy,

Just let him count his dollars,
For someday he will see,
That even with all the green in the world,
He will never afford me.

I feel this force inside me,
A drive to change my way,
Difference in direction,
No specific place to stay,

Like God needs me out there,
For everyone to know and see,
Thrilled to be outside these walls,
Traveling what He has created for me,

I was given special talents,
Many of these which I could use,
To better myself in an office,
But that is all old news,

The drive with which I'm given,
A spark inside my heart,
I will hope for what I need,
To not allow my dreams to fall apart,

I know I was born with a purpose,
Something that is entirely strange,
I was created by Him to stand out,
And find my way in the vast mountain range,

I pray to God my life is filled with surprise,
but how unusual this request is,
For happiness is far different,
When you're a girl who treasures a sunrise .

Soft wind blows on this dark dreary night,
Fear of the unknown pleading for a touch of light,
Whistling winds flow among the trees,
Dropping the leaves as many as they please,
Landing on shadows, many unknown,
Fear of the dark seemed to have grown,
I am running inside now, full of fright,
afraid that never shall I find the light.

Look at life with a whole new view,
wondering why people do what they do,
Heads turning.. glares and gazes,
Why the strong look upon their faces?,
What is it they think I do?,
Besides look at life with a whole new view.
