Upon these sea’s
I wait along the shore
for your return.

Your memory never fades
for you are always part
of my ever growing heart,
like the waves my love
is a powerful force.

It beats for you and burns
until you return from
your journey from the
depths of selfishness.

I understand your grief,
I understand your suffering.

Though you are more
too me then all the wealth
in the world.

I love you so much
it hurts me to have to
let you go,
I suffer so because
you are my love.

I understand your pain,
I understand your shame,
I care about you
and that’s my pain.

I only hope the best for you.

You see me
yet you don't see my brain.

My brain functions at a different
level it's wired like a backwards
motherboard, I started life
in silence and frustration
slowly growing into a hurricane
of communication.

Speech is lacking in my brain
but still I learned how to speak
through my ability to write poetry
and understanding languages
you probably can't speak.

My eagerness helps me to develop
and grow.

Routine and schedule is my
favorite thing to do, it feels good
to stick to a straight line.

Noises and lights hurt my eyes
body and mind, causing painful irritation to grow and
poke my mind.

I've had to grow up inside this
painful design, it's been hard
and deep gloomy and
sometimes fleek.

I find my autism stylish
and unique, it's full of awesome designs but also darkness
that seems never ending.

Like everything else I have
bad and good times too.

I might think like a cat
but I am still human by design.

This is autism and me
my backwards life.

I have high functioning autism. Poetry helps me to communicate and taught me how to express myself so you can understand my situation. Technology has made my life easier. Without the internet I wouldn't be able to share with you, also I wouldn't have gotten where I am today. I also suffer from a rare movement disorder and I was able to get a brain surgery called Deep Brain Stimulator that helps me to be able to move. The internet made it possible for me to find the doctor and specialists who helped me. I am very grateful.

We were never one
like you claim.

You lied to me,
you used me,
you push me away
after abusing me.

You say I am doing wrong
for expressing my
broken heart to you.
That somehow it’s my fault
you are a **** tugging
at my heart strings.

You blame me for
your behavior,
when I have done nothing
but tell you that you
are hurting me.

I tried to enjoy life
with you but sadly
you don’t enjoy my time.

You bully me
when I ask for space,
as if my space means
nothing to you.

It’s a push and shove
when it comes to our love.

I give my everything
but you give me pain
and suffering.

You act like I love
your things but I don’t
care about your wealth,
I care about yourself,
health and happiness.

Upon the breath of Spring
life grows, as the sun beams
bathe the trees, the breeze
blew through the valley.

As shadows lengthen
stretching across the sidewalk
bird's chirping and dew
settles on the grass.

Clouds float above my head
like cotton ***** looming
in the sky.

Good morning.

You are strong for
the strongest survive
the storm.

Once in a past great moon
my sphere dimmed down
too a sliver of ash,
the tiniest breeze would
blow my moon away.

Until poetry blew me a kiss
and our love affair has
gotten stronger over the years.

Expression is the best
way to release my fears
into the heavens above
where the stars chase
them away.

Upon my poetic breath
all is an exhale imagined
by my poetic mind.

I gather my tears upon
this page, leaving you
with a smile and
a gracious bow.

Remember, You are strong
for the strongest survive
the storm.

A lone you are not,
for other stars are falling too busting, growing, and expanding with you.

We are like a drop of water
in a large pond, our ripples effect reality as we grow.

It’s a night of warm summer
beams, a time of change
is in the air, past seasons
greets us with their kisses.

The heat stirs,curling,
foggy wisps of rain.
Shrouds of wild flowers
cover the ground.

A midnight dream of ashened
trees, and realities part
slightly, to weaken the
other seasons making way
for summers beating heart.

Now a day of brooding sun,
I go down to the river
where it’s warm and green
for there is where spring
lays down for a nap,
I promised her a farewell.

Poetic Muse

•~•
"You pause to take notice,
like an old friend from long ago
your muse returned.
Never forgotten…"

My Gothic Muse
•~•

Upon this page I stain my phrase,
emotional mood is set to swoon
and entrance your intrigue.

Of ald and fluid lyrics,
passed through time but
never forgotten,
these moments are engraved
by my poetic muse.

It’s hard to lose your interest
for my verses are formatted
in such a way, it’s easy
to relate to.

I am that like an old book,
I am torn and tattered
yellowed by time and age,
my binding is well sewn the glue
is strong, my format is poetic
and flows off the tongue
like smooth honey.
