Something far more dangerous than any weapon
Something far more destructive than war
Something more awe inspiring than any hero
Something more beautiful than any heavenly maiden
Brighter than the sun itself
And far more fragile than any glass
Seducing any one who could even picture it
The Phoenix Fire

He was alone
He had been eager to impress
Those that laughed at him
Those who pitied him
Darkness threatened him
It hurt him to breath
He thought of his friends
They needed him
He stood slowly
With armor darkened from blood
Pain seared through him
As he charged toward his fate

Soaring high in the sky,
Oblivious to the world below,
The villagers flee and cry,
As it creates sorrow.

Hoarding jewels and gems,
Shimmering and shining in the lair of flame,
Anyone who enters, the beast condemns,
With a single breath, the humans soul is now the beasts claim.

However, there are few,
who would seek nothing but peace,
Those who view,
The humans decrease.

Kin against kin,
Flame against fire,
Just against Sin
Dragons are something to admire.
So. I got back into writing and I decided to try and make some more poems, I know this one isn't as good as it could be, but I will get better.

It began at night with the moon so silver
At one glance there, another gone
It lifted it's nose, and growled
The wind grew cold as the beast found it's prey
Belly rumbled, and the very forest wanted it to feed
But the beast knew better
Crawling toward it's soon-to-be meal
The prey was oblivious to the danger
The night was pierced by a deafening howl
The crows sang their dreadful song
The hunt was over
Yeah, I'm kinda new to this, so if you've got tips don't hesitate to give them out.
