I'd write you a verse
like the moon in the dark,
like a muttering curse.
I'd write you a verse
from better to worse,
from muffled to stark,
I'd write you a verse
like the moon in the dark.

Did you ever hear about ******* Lil?
She lived in ******* town on ******* hill,
She had a ******* dog and a ******* cat,
They fought all night with a ******* rat.

She had ******* hair on her ******* head.
She had a ******* dress that was poppy red:
She wore a snowbird hat and sleigh-riding clothes,
On her coat she wore a crimson, ******* rose.

Big gold chariots on the Milky Way,
Snakes and elephants silver and gray.
Oh the ******* blues they make me sad,
Oh the ******* blues make me feel bad.

Lil went to a snow party one cold night,
And the way she sniffed was sure a fright.
There was Hophead Mag with ***** Slim,
Kankakee Liz and Yen Shee Jim.

There was Morphine Sue and the Poppy Face Kid,
Climbed up snow ladders and down they skid;
There was the Stepladder Kit, a good six feet,
And the Sleigh-riding Sister who were hard to beat.

Along in the morning about half past three
They were all lit up like a Christmas tree;
Lil got home and started for bed,
Took another sniff and it knocked her dead.

They laid her out in her ******* clothes:
She wore a snowbird hat with a crimson rose;
On her headstone you’ll find this refrain:
She died as she lived, sniffing *******

I like you in purple,
purple flower fields
We're safe in our meadow,
but they're nipping at our heels

I like you in blue,
blue swirling monsoons
Just think of happy thoughts:
puppies, kiwis and raccoons

I like you in yellow,
yellow playground slides
It's too hot in here,
but it's a place to hide

I like you in green,
green stalks of bamboo.
Puffs of smoke and pocket change,
help me lace my shoes

I like you in red,
red blankets by the river
twilight, moonlight, Starlight,
waking up with shivers

I like you in purple,
purple lazy sighs
Sleepyheads with heavy limbs
and guilty, smiling eyes

Poetry is…
wonderful
enchanting
beautiful
moody
just like a woman

a few days out of the month)

you will always be apart of me
you will always be in my dreams
to you i might just be another ******* that made you cry and stole your dreams,
the one that broke your heart and made you realize its time to grow up,
just another monster hiding behind a mask,
that guy that was to weak to move on and just gave up,
but to me…
you will always be my first love,
that beautiful girl with such innocent daydreams,
even though you were never around… your memory is always alive in my head,
i hope you never grow up and you act the age you wanna be,
if it wasnt for people telling us our age how old would you think you would be
i loved every second of being by your side,
i loved every single word that passed your lips,
i loved how beautiful you look in the moonlight,
i loved how delicious you were on the lips,
i loved how any where i would go i would be able to smell you on me,
i loved how you made me feel like a little kid,
i loved the fact that you loved me,
i hope you do something good with your life
i hope you forget about me and the sorrows i brought you
i hope your doing better then me
i hope to see i love you pass through your lips once more in my life
i hate how i stole your smile and i hate how easily i watched mine slip away
i hate me for allowing myself to just throw you aside
i hate me for everything i did
i just hate me

Gas
The vile gas in my ***,
would create a concussive blast.
Similar to the cast,
"Go Squirtle, Hydro Blast!"
little boys used to scrape your knee.
now, they break your heart.

Marijuana is tempting me
we all have our moments (and)
you're going to hell
hands twitch spasmodically on the windowframe
belly white fire from below
You make me sweat
and fidget
and pace
hair shining ravenlike at dawn
God kills all our children while
America revels in buisiness suits
the poor man beaten down
Listened to your tired song 30 hours straight but
felt no comfort in the melody
smoked 10,000 cigarettes
waiting for the Christian Apocalypse
