What's the use of earning lots
of the precious gold and coins?
Then, you leave them and descend
where all will be changed to earth.

What's the profit to become
one of those who rules the world?
Then you leave your great empire
and alight inside your grave.

What's the gain if you are loved
by the women of your town
and they cry for your sad fate,
but the coming is that hole?

Give me, Lord, the hope of life
with my Father and great Lord,
making life and afterlife
great delight with that great end.

HOW GLAD THEY MUST BE!
I was enraptured by a song
sung by a chanter of years passed.
I thought about that who performed
if he'd fulfilled his task in life.

The song was praising serious love
that was of pure and sincere sense.
I felt elated by his words
that moved good feelings in my heart.

I felt so glad for this clean man
who sang something of useful aims.
He praised his Lord for His good world
and now, he should be well content.

How pleased are those who achieved what
was great and useful for mankind.
They lived so active useful years
and now, they're glad about past deeds.

IT'S HIS CHOICE.
A man is not more than a child
in his small knowledge of the world.
His soul is from his divine Lord;
it tends to live and death abhors.

He loves to live, but life goes fast.
He has no means to stay alive.
The Lord loves him but wants His love
to make him blameless like Himself.

When man opposes God's good will
and follows what makes him choose sin,
its blemish gives him great headache,
but he still yearns for endless being.

It is his choice to stay alive
with those who reap what Eden yields,
or get the dirt and live some years
and die in his poor choice of vice.

WHAT'S THE SECRET OF THE CHANGE?
The apostles were afraid
and escaped from place to place.
After resurrection, they
did not care about their death.

What could make them bold and willed
to defy abuse and pain,
with no wish to shun an end
passed through boiling oil or worse?

They beheld in Christ the might
that could make their world so cheap
when compared with what He'd done
that submerged their hearts with mirth.

Kinds of mirth equal to joy,
seen in heaven, rare in sorts,
like resurrection which man

I'm so glad You stayed so short
in the grave, then came back soon,
filled our hearts with greatest mirth
with a deed just you can do.

None could think you would return

and so pleased for his own life.
Then, we live on earth to start

Lord, You are the mind of God.

Love's not to exploit but give

I think that God wants all mankind

SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY
The world still has some people who believe
in that pure life in which Saint Valentine
was keen on seeing spouses would attain
the life which was so full of Jesus' bliss.

It is the way that keeps their love aflame
and joins them from the moment when it starts.
It is the kind of love that will increase
till it becomes the lord of the two hearts.

The two will get like one. None can divide
as each will see their duty in the world
through what the other needs to have a smile
and when it shows itself, he feels so pleased.

WE'RE AWAITING CHRISTMAS.
Greatest hope to mankind will occur
in that cave faraway from the rich.
He's the king of all kings and He'll start
His own life in a cave shepherds have.

He conceives that His task is so hard.
They will end His short life on a cross,
and the start will be poor with no cash,
but He's pleased; His soul lives to no end.

He'll tell man nothing can spoil the glee;
a poor life, a harsh end won't bring fear
as man knows that his soul has no end
in a place full of calmness and peace.

I was a child in that warm house,

I perceive my life should have a task.

THE MOUNTAIN AND THE VALE
Between the mountain lofty top and that low vale,
I wander beside them to have a look at both.
The mountain lacks the fruits the vale can always have
while both attract my eyes to see the greater worth.

Both have been there since Adam's time but he has gone
and lots like him have traced his way while both exist.
I look with eager eyes at that most glorious peak,
but fear of that hard climb can stop my feet.

It's hard to climb but when we reach the soaring point,
I find the vale so nice but not for dreaming hearts.
The daunted hearts prefer the vale and its sweet fruits
as craggy peaks demand stout heartedness and might.

He saw her near a village well
where girls would take their jugs to fill
the cups from which their parents drank
and thanked the hands that quenched their thirst.

Her face shone brighter than the moon.
She was so sweet with tanned, soft skin.

but that sharp arrow pierced his heart.

He asked her where she lived to go
and see her parents if she wished.

THE LOYAL FAMILY
An unlucky bird had broken
one of its uplifting organs.
It became so sad to live on
land and lose its flying journeys.

Its most loyal mate lived with it
in the middle of a forest
where they built their nest in bushes
and had some chicks which they brought up.

One day hunters saw the female
up a tree and they intended
to discharge a killing bullet,
but the male in front ran faster.

It was shot but saved the upper
bird and was content for its act.
Its relaxed face sent a message,

Do you think that there is luck
and it rains on one while he

It is said that luck can make
rainy days become quite clear

They have little mind to use,
but their dumbness is the cause.

I feel surprised how man enjoys
the food he eats, the spring cool breeze.
How does he like to promenade
along the coast or round the town?

We relish food when we are sure

We get disheartened when the sun
Is hidden in the writhing clouds.
The moon disperses its faint rays
through clouds that threaten to downpour.

How can you, man, relish your time

We find that absolution was
so easy at the time of Christ.
Whoever went to Him and begged
salvation got all his demands.

But Christ is now with us as well.
He is with those who seek their loaves

Endeavour to encounter Him.
You find Him crying through their eyes.
Ask Him forgiveness for your sins,
for leaving those who need your hands.

What are you, war, but a raw sore
that itches those who can't escape.
They're driven like the sheep to die.
unable their complaints to bleat.

Man is created not to die
while he is in the state of sin.

big bellied kings and their high rank
commanders who are senseless men

All wounds are pain, and no one likes
to suffer pain and its harsh strain.
Up there, God asks about my wounds.
I say,"l had some in my life."

I put them all in front of Him
but feel they are too few and slim.
I beg His mercy to accept

I'm so ashamed of what l have,
but ask His kindness to forgive

to be the brother of His Son.

Inner pleasure is so charming
but it leads to what's crestfallen.

Where are we from the solution?

but its end is like snake venom.

Man can find his joy in labour.
He will find an outside blitheness,

The way of life is like the sea.
My little boat is so disturbed.
It's moving up and down in place,
but forward motion is quite curbed.

My compass is so good and sound,
but factors distort what it shows.
The earth has lost its guiding force
and what's nearby its needle draws.

What can one do with such a loss?
The boat is tossed about in place.
No forward movement l can feel
and if l can, what do l trace?

The world has lost its faithful guide
which is replaced by full nonsense.

If you have foes, in mankind's laws,
you hate their sight and you should fight,
but in Christ's faith, there is strange grace
which makes who hates live in the heart.

A foeman is dashing at you,
a dagger is in his right hand.
You will use strength to disarm him
but not to shed his furious blood.

Your anger may see him hostile,
but this will last till you are safe.
Once he gets weak, you will love him
and defend him paying your life.

Love is not pleasure; it is pain.
You see those whom you love so dear,
and dear ones are always fragile,
which gives great torture you can't bear.

I think of what Jesus has taught,
and stand awestruck before this man.
I find Him that He is the best
of all who've walked under the sun.

I put aside that He is God
and write about His life on earth.

He had great ruth on that female
whom none dared her soul to elate.
He sympathized despite the risk

He is the norm which man desires

to serve yourself or who are near.
You can't have both as selfish men

The Shepherd could not stay afar
from His poor flock as it was weak,
but weakness at times causes harm
when it kills That Whose hands redeem.

He came to save the lambs whose skin
was flayed by pains that were acute.
They saw He was so kind and soft;
they killed Him in a way too brute.

He showed them love that never dies.
They showed Him how the thieves were killed.
He saved their skin; they flogged His own.
He had good will; they had the worst.

He pitied those most ruthless hearts.

"Forgive them, Father, they don't know
that their own Saviour they have killed."

What is true love?
It is the feelings that exist towards someone.
You give that person all your life.
You reach a state in which you lose
your value and all men's respect,
but you don't care.

while you are quite rejected there
to suffer and to bear your pain,
and see a man who has no ken
go by and look with great disdain,
but you don't care as you can find
that all your pleasure is to give,
and give much more

THE CHOICE
Your hands can gather quite a lot of gold
but does your heart accept what you have robbed?
Your clever muse can write a lot of verse
but don't you fear its effects on the crowd?

Your thoughts can bring some embers from deep hell
and paint their pictures to some eager eyes,
but that would spoil the pure hearts and the souls
and bring you remorse for such serious crimes.

It's easy to cheat those who trust your skills
and are so quikly lost in your dark maze
but when they wake up from their nasty dreams
they hate you more than you can recognize.

I'd love to be so poor, and beg my food
and lose my money and my precious fame,

PRAY TO A LIVING GOD.
You want to pray?
When by mere chance, you meet a man
who truly wants an urgent help.
So gently try to know his needs
and solve his problem till you see
his grimace is changed to a smile.

When you get home, retrace your deed,
recall his smile and feel so glad.
Right after that, the Lord in him,
and Who exists in every heart,
will touch your feelings and give you
the blessing of the living God.

Where can you find what gives you peace
that makes your life so full of mirth?
Can it be *** that ends so fast,
and then you have to clean your filth?

Or is it money that gives you
the chance to buy all what you like?
But you can't have a tranquil heart
as death will sever you from luck.

Perhaps, you think high posts and fame
can make you sure your name will stay.
How can you feel you have all that
when you are changed into some clay?

But you can enjoy all of them
if you have faith in Jesus Christ.
Your talents are achieved so well,
and life on land is highly pricced.

THE GOLDEN MISTAKE
Saint Peter, you are dear and grand.
I'm pleased because you have denied
the Lord and wept the hottest tears
as you could not that mistake bear.

But you believed in Jesus' love
that it would not blame but forgive.
You came back with much stronger zest
and showed more love than all the rest.

I was so hopeless when l, too,
through sin l behaved just like you.
Only your faith could give me hope
to dry my tears and my faults drop.

WHAT IS THE AIM?
Great is man if he can find his aim in life
ere the foot of fate can tread on his live heart
and can secure what may give a tranquil smile
since he has embraced his hope before he dies.

It's not easy to discern why we were born.
Can it be an act of chance with no intent?
Why did people look for creeds from ancient times
to perceive what gave them faith for such a trip?

It's a drama, but the actors have sharp minds
which enforce them to reflect and find its gist.
If this journey is a whim of **** two,
it will be a crime to have a child on earth.

Who enjoys this aimless life if it's a way
to a grave that waits for all who come and leave?
How can one enjoy a meter of this road
if the end will be the grave and horrid smell?

CHRISTMAS
In Your creche, l find Your target
of the love the world would neglect.
People live in their high tower
and the Lord's in His stone bower.

People are pleased with their gaining
through corruption and misdealing.
Power of the flesh is haughty
and it builds on boasts and cruelty.

Lord, on hay and in your cradle
like a lamb, You are so feeble
Lying meekly in a manner
when observed, the mighty cower.

In Your mildness, there is glory
telling us Your greatness' story.
It reveals and shows Your purpose:
the sublime love's found in weakness.

GOD'S  ALTRUISM
God is gentle, God is mercy.
Love for Him has not a limit.
He considers us His children.
If you are a father, fancy.

He is kinder than all creatures.
Tears were twinkling as Jesus showed
when some people died or suffered
and He does when children still do.

He directs the hands and feelings,
getting sad when we don't listen.
He resorts to tender mothers,
asking for gentle assistance.

Man imagines parents' conduct
is much softer than God's kindness,
but He does not care for all that
as His aim is love among us.

Little flower in the garden,
you have charmed me with your splendour.
Sweet's the smell which is around you,
given by your splendid odour.

Getting near you makes me wonder
why is life so harsh on livers.
Now, your youth is proud and haughty.
Have you thought about the coming?

Happy flower, do not ponder
on what goes on in my silence
as you cannot change your future
which is imposed on all creatures.

You are happy with the present.
Enjoy it and do not worry.
That, Who gives you all these wonders,
surely tucks away what's better.
