A PART OF ME                   trochee
Past events, you came and went like yesterday,
but you left what l miss much and crave to see.
I was not so glad with all your past results,
but you are so dear and prized, a part of me.

I adore that person though he was so cruel.
Past events can blind themselves to all the harm
and invoke great love in me for acts and men,
Yielding what can bestow me the happy dream.

What is now but coming past of coming years?
Who are you, the man who spoils what l do now?
You will be so precious to my heart and soul,
why not love your deeds from now, and end my row?

MY DEAREST FRIEND EVER
Father Denis, you are dear to me.
You are in my heart, where you will be
till the end of life and in the skies
where l'll rush to you with weeping eyes.

You informed me my religious thoughts,
all my English and set right my faults.
You taught me for school and my degree;
teaching me was all completely free.

I recall what was my big mistake;
my blind anger made me you forsake.
You departed and l wasn't kind
and your journey was the last on land.

I endeavoured to correct my act,
but it was too late, a sordid fact.
You are in the sky; l love you much.
In the afterlife, l mend my breach.

THE CLOWN'S GOWN
Europe, you wax so frail and low
in all what you can see and show.
You've changed your verse to guessing games
but kept for it those great old names.

How can you place your modern verse
among the poems of great wits?
Don't you feel shy and hide yourself
as what you indite brings you grief?

You are still proud though lost your creed,
the secret why you could succeed.
You're getting funny, low and down;
no wonder your verse wears this gown.

THE SAMPLE
What you will see in your next life
and what you see in your night dream
are both your deeds of daily life
which night and heaven give them gleam.

Same fibre has the dream you have
with life up there; they're both divine.
What you with full intention do
gives after effects of the wine.

That is the sky that you aspire
to live in when life gets sheer night.
Heaven like dreams will show your acts;
what's done before becomes so bright.

WHAT DID YOU GAIN?
Soldier, who is stained with blood,
you or that who sent you there?
You **** those whom you don't know.
How can you such an act bear?

You sometimes are sent abroad
to attack who are at home,
and return with esteemed hands;
can that with your mind conform?

Don't you think that you killed some
who are dear to their poor kin?
Just a question l ask you
what did you by that act gain?

WOMEN
A splendid place a woman has
inside my heart and in my soul.
You are the mother, daughter, wife.
You are who weaves us winter's wool.

You are the womb that gives men life,
whose role won't end with giving birth.
Men are the fathers all their lives.
You are the feeders, love , and mirth.

No honest man can see in you
his pastime as you are his mum.
He loves you and gives you his heart;
the wife and crown of his dear home.

LOVE I CAN'T DENY
Your eyes make me adore the world.
They make two hearts play one love tune.
This tune tells me how great you are,
and tells you that you're my fortune.

They make you see how much l love,
and how my heart is no more free
as what goes on inside my heart
is in my eyes for you to see.

Your eyes show beauty of rare genre,
in shape, in touch that lives inside.
They enslave my soul ere my eyes;
the soul's love cannot be denied.
