MOTIVATED BY LOVE NOT HATE
When Christ came down to earth, He could have had
the choice to be the ruler of the world.
He chose to be the child of that poor mum,
and nothing in His hand except the truth.

He started teaching as the poorest man,
and opposed what was wrong without a sword.
He loved the people, and He cured the sick,
and fed with fish all those that hunger struck.

He forgave His disciples when untrue,
and those who caused His death on that harsh cross.
He could have killed all those who wished His death,
but He would spread deep love and not revenge.

THE BUTTERFLY AND THE FLY
Poetry, you are as free to fly
as a butterfly from rose to rose.
You don't go to that unpleasant fly
to impose on you its style of flight.

It approaches you just to disturb
your harmonious flow that it beholds.
This disturbing creature does not know
how to fly and wants the others so.

Fly on, butterfly; don't mind the fly.
It approaches to disturb your joy.
The unequalled charm of your own move
gains the hearts which know the taste of love.

WHAT IS THE USE?
The obscure darkness fills the sky
with stars that twinkle like man's eyes.
They ask if man can find an aim
of this fast trip and his short life.

The stars tell him that they have seen
a lot of people come and die.
They saw the cavemen yesterday.
Today, they see the modern men.

They passed like guests and still they do.
Why do they come? where do they go?
The stars and eyes twinkle and ask,
"What is the use of this vague trip?"

PASSENGERS OF TIME TRAIN
The olden time came back to me
When l was reading Shakespeare.
The crowds were at the outer gate
and he was pleased on his old stage.

He wanted larger crowds to come
as he desired more income.
He did not see how years elapsed;
his eyes and mind were reading plays.

Abruptly, he observed his hand
while he was writing a new thought.
Some wrinkles caused him little fright;
he noticed time had done its job.

You are in my mind , great playwright,
as you are such a dear seatmate.
Long time has gone to sever us
but we are in the same time train.

THE PRESENT WITH IF
Enjoy the present; never deem the past
to be upbeat or full of pleasant scenes.
Don't think of coming time; it's not your own.
You possess none except the present time.

Rejoice when you are in good health and mind.
They let you feel the pleasure in your hand.
prepare a drink, and enjoy every sip.
You can't be sure if you will reach the dregs.

I love you present as you are my chance
to read, to write, to indite, and to muse.
You are the only joy that life can give
if in man's heart, there is the soul of God.

HOW CAN I KNOW YOUR WILL?
You are my aim to live a tranquil life.
Please, be the voice that tells me if l'm right.
I look inside my heart expecting sights
that tell me if l'm right in what l do.

Where areYou, Lord? I've been in search for you,
forgetting my own ways and seeking yours.
Why don't you give me just a touch that shows
I'm right or wrong in what l search or do?

I'm not so strong but l'm true and sincere.
I implore you to use Your hinting ways.
I need to know your will to walk that way
as what you want from us is good for all.

A STONE IN THE WALL
What's the gain when you defeat a man,
or can prove you are the better one?
Lots of people live on this wide land.
Now, you are supreme; will it last long?

Don't care who is better or much worse.
Care for doing what you think can show
something of the truth which when you see,
you will say that's what l'm proud to be.

You will put a stone in that high wall
which when others see, they'll gain a lot.
They will see the gist that shows how life
can be better for mankind to live.
