Once upon a concrete fairytale
There lived, and loved, a girl
With eyes of cuts of sky
And lips of roses red.

She aimed to be kind,
And she aspired to be perfect,
And though it's what you saw
She often fell short,
Like a shot of whiskey;
This lovely, golden girl.

If she so wished,
The stars would have been her hairnet,
The midnight ink her silent gown,
And suitors the slippers that caressed her feet,
The ones she walked all over.

She was described as
Spring; as laughter in liquid form
To be drank in slowly; as ice
On the spine - so revitalizing;
Like your future,
Like everything you wanted.

But she didn't want
Any part of herself.
She found her words too sweet,
Her beliefs too strong,
She found her own life and song too stifling.

And her Prince was a long time coming.

And you watched her wither,
Eat poison apples, and wake herself up,
You watched her become still, and quiet,
With the lonely that froze her
Out of her own heart.

And so you, her jailer, with your watchful stare,
Took pity, and, releasing her,
From her self made chains,
You told her to cut her hair, to dress different,
To do anything to reanimate her mind.
You gave her the key.

And she used it.
Then she threw it out the tower,
So it could never again enslave her,
And then she jumped after it.
Chasing sweet, unparalleled freedom.

And she lived happily ever after
In the hearts and minds of men.

No puppet strings attached.

i'm sorry for being foolish
i'm sorry for being naive
i'm sorry for being dumb
i'm sorry for being too carefree

i'm sorry for being jealous
i'm sorry for being blunt
i'm sorry for being in the clouds
i'm sorry for trying to pull this stunt

i'm sorry for all the trouble i've caused
i'm sorry for hurting her
i'm sorry for getting in the way
i'm sorry for being a ****

i'm sorry i thought you cared
i'm sorry for trusting you
i'm sorry that you lied to me
but most of all,
i'm sorry for loving you.
The silent terror / That comes with pain
The cool calm / Before the rain
The desperate hunter / Looking for prey
Why was I chosen? / I cannot say
It’s you** I think of
Before I go to sleep.
It’s your voice that calms me
When I laugh myself silly.
It’s you who I think of
When times are slipping.
It’s you that will reason
With  the stupidity from me.
It’s your eyes which keep me moving
From day to each day.
It’s your warmth in your touch
That makes the butterflies take off.
It’s your kindness.
That makes me want to be a nicer guy.
It’s you that I need
When I feel lonely.
It’s you that I want
Just to hold close.
It’s you that lets me know
Everything is right in my life.

I can't believe you are here now,
Reading my verses.
You, Writer, who looks skeptically at anything
Which doesn't come from you.
You, Writer, who can appreciate only the words
That come from your own pen
Or from the pen of the dead.
While you adore corpses
Your brothers and sisters
Stay here
Unreaded,
Despised
For you
And for me,
Because I am not better than you.
But maybe together
We can be better
And give to ours friends
More than merely "likes"
In theirs shortest verses,
Because is what our lazyness
Allowed is to read.
Maybe together we can strength
Our verses
Our hearts
And-hour by hour-
All the world.
I don't have ADD
But she smiled at me
And I guess that changes everything

I don't speak with two tongues
I'm just a sucker who's killing his lungs
And I guess that changes everything

I don't walk ten miles an hour
And when I speak it is without power
And I guess that changes everything

I forgot my blinker,
I wanted to flirt and wink at her,
I see now. That changes everything

I see now. And I should've known
I could fall in love.
Now I know that she wants me,
And I know she's my everything
